I've been using Live Wire cables now for 3 years. I'm a traveling musician and sound engineer and I've used them on about 50 shows per year. During that time I only had one cable go bad - I took it to a Live Wire dealer and they traded me a brand new one straight up. You can't go wrong with these cables for the price and the guarantee. There is no common sense in paying $$$ for cables.

I purchased an 18' w/angled jack in July 2012, and a 10' w/angled jack in Sept 2012.
The 18' cable started humming and buzzing at an Oct. gig, so I got the 10' cable out and finished the gig.
I used the 10' cable for 4 more gigs, in Dec 2012 it started buzzing so I pulled my last good cable out, I have had this cable for at least 10 yrs don't even no what brand it is but it still works!
Bottom line these cables (wire and jacks) are made in China and are junk!!
I gave this a 1 star rating only because thats as low as they would allow me to go.
Looking for a cable made in the U.S.A., as soon as I get off the phone with Musician's Enemy.

My freind and I are getting back on stage and picked up these wires for our guitars. VERRY quiet links to the amps and effects. I know I will be buying a few more for the rest of my instruments

Comments about Live Wire Advantage Series 1/4" Angled - Straight Instrument Cable:
Our family have used these cords for years. They are reasonaby priced and guaranteed 100%. Of all the cords we have I only had to take one back. It just stopped working and they didn't ask any questions they just gave me a new one. No problems since.

These are good quality cables. The angle is perfect for Gibson guitars and Fender basses. I also use one on some amplifiers. No problems as of yet.

Comments about Live Wire Advantage Series 1/4" Angled - Straight Instrument Cable:
Good quality basic cable - if you plan on dragging your guitar around the stage, likely you will need a heavier cable :) I actually prefer the lighter weight cables like this since they don't stress the guitar jacks so much.

Comments about Live Wire Advantage Series 1/4" Angled - Straight Instrument Cable:
I use these cables for home use and they work well. No problems, but I do not repeatedly tear my home practice rig down keeping the repeated unplugging, coiling-up,etc, etc to a minimum. I use higher quality cables when gigging. So the problems some describe are not a problem to me.

Comments about Live Wire Advantage Series 1/4" Angled - Straight Instrument Cable:
I have owned one of these cables for about 10 years now and I have never had a problem with it or had to resolder the tips. I recently just bought two more for my pedal board because I made two board extensions (to runabout 40+pedals) and I needed these to make the connections. I haven't gigged in about 5 years but when I did I used this cable all the time and never had any issues. They are not the same quality as Monster cables but for what I use them for they are absolutely perfect.
