Probably more good than bad. Unless youre a stage performer, this cable is plenty good.
There are no features. This is basically a cable someone could make with some bulk wire, heat shring tube and some nickle plated 1/4" mono jacks from Shadio Black.. Lifetime warranty is a bonus, but not a deal maker since there is no way im hanging on to the receipt and original packaging for 20+ years for a low priced item.
Plenty good for what it is.. a cheap cable that works.
No fancy moulding, or colors. just wire, heatshrink, mono jacks and a bit of solder.
The cable itself is at least as durable as the generic starter kit cables you can pick up in the slightly higher price range at any music brick and mortar shop.
Youre not gonna get away with running the lawn mower over it, but yea.. its a low price

I got my used Epiphone guitar around nine months ago for my birthday, and my dad got me a livewire guitar cable to go with it. Well I had never used a different cable, so I didn't know the poor quality of the one I was stuck with. The first few months were great, but after awhile I noticed a slight buzzing. Eventually the stupid thing just stopped working and I opened it up to find that the soldering was done very poorly and it had of course broken. so i re-solderd it only to find that now it makes an even more annoying buzzing noise, especially when plugged into a large amp. I immediatly went to a guitar center and bought my self a quality cable, monster to be exact, and have not been disappointed. I suppose this cable would work for connecting things that wouldn't really move (such as amps or effect peddals) but for connecting your guitar to your amp it just isn't up for the job. Unless you're into metal or something and like buzzing, or if you enjoy soldering more than playing your guitar than this is the cable for you. Other wise, don't pinch your pennies and buy something that you wont have to use the lifetime warrenty on, like a monster cable.

Like most guitarists, I'm always looking for ways to improve my sound. I bought a 12 inch Live Wire cable to connect a couple of guitar effects pedals, mainly to see if Live Wire was as good as some of my other short cables. I'm very pleased with the result. The cable is sturdy with reinforced ends and Neutrik connectors, so it should last for a while. It sounds very good. The price was right. As usual, Musician's Friend shipping and service are excellent.

I use two of these for my effects loop, they don't seem to add any noise and seem to be made well. Nice strain relief at each connection.

I've used these cables for many years and have always had really good service from them. It's like anything else, if you take care of it, it will last a long time. If you treat it rough, it wont. I take care of things, and cables are no exception, so they last a long time, despite the road rough treatment that happens no matter what. Bottom line, good price, for a good cable. I've seen really high end cables not do any better than these do. I don't shop brand, I shop best bang for your buck, and these cables are the best bang for your buck.
