    Nice and solid.

    Comments about Live Wire MIDI(F)-MIDI(F) Connector:

    This does what it says. You can connect two cables together to make a longer one, which is what I needed to do for my controllers to reach my computer. It's a pretty hefty connector- built like a rock. When I plug cables in it, I can feel there's a good mechanical connection. There is no observable loss when I connect through it. My only complaint is that it's a little spendy and comes with no user manual.
