Manhasset Carton of 6 M48 Music Stands  

These Manhasset 48 music stands are conveniently lightweight, the shelf stays where it's put and its angle can be adjusted with one hand.  The height can be adjusted with one hand and a foot on the base. The only thing I wish these had is an extra shelf for pencils, etc. but that's not standard, I know.  I'm very happy with them.

I've only had these for a couple weeks, but have used them and they work perfectly.  They seem lighter weight than the older Manhasset stands I'm familiar with.  It remains to be seen if that translates into their being more easily bent or not.  Perhaps the metal used now is just stronger.

The 6-carton box was a great value.  I thought I only wanted four, but I'm glad I got the six as we've already used them all at one time!

I really like these stands, for the reasons I mentioned above--great value, light weight, easy to adjust.  I have a couple Hamilton stands with the extra shelf (which I really like), but the shelf doesn't stay up!  I am constantly having to pull the shelf up during rehearsal as I direct.  I also have one stand that has the handgrip lever that allows height adjustment with one hand, but somehow the base has been damaged and it's a bit cockeyed and wobbles.  Idon't know what happened to it, but I would have expected a stand to hold up to being knocked over a few times.  The shelf on that one has to be released with a knob to adjust its angle.  Not convenient for my usage.

Great quality, I am glad they are American made.

The carton of 6 M48 Music Stands is a great price.  I have bought 4 cartons over the last 2 years.

These stands are light wight, easy to use, and easy to move around.
