I use the Manhasset 5101 Fourscore Stand while playing in a praise band. We often direct segue from one song to the next, leaving no time to turn pages. This stand has room to hold at least four sheets and with a little creativity even more. I sometimes use the stand to hold a laptop computer which brings up the only drawback. The tension is not adjustable so the stand won?t stay at the desired height with the additional weight. This can be overcome by applying a clamp to the tube of the stand. Overall a good stand.

Desk is nice and big but base is too light to keep it from tipping easily. If you you bump the desk the stand vibrates forever and the chrome tube actually rattles inside the black tube. I planned to use this in my recording studio but the rattling issue is a problem. Manhasset blew this one.

Love this for sheet music, the top is great size for viewing your work. The top is heavy a little more than the base feet. It could be more heavier to compensate for the weight of the metal top so it doesn't get knocked over. but it is light and easy to transport in my suburban and adjusts fast and holds it's spot.

This is a well built, stable, sturdy wide stand for holding four pages of music, allowing musician to focus on playing, not turning pages.
It's a bit heavy and bulky for regular, portability, but not prohibitive. Perhaps lack of a thumb screw tensioning clamp on the base is a plus, as long as the friction holds up over time. Hard to beat for the money!

I don't understand the other reviewers stating that this stand isn't stable or needs to be tightened regularly, or the tube rattles. I have a few of these stands, use them all the time and have never experienced any of those issues. Of course I followed the assembly instructions and firmly tightened the bolts when I put them together. I don't see how the tube can rattle, but perhaps that individual got a bad one. Overall I am very pleased with these, they hold multiple score sheets well and are solid. If I ever need another, I will get one of these.

This is my second Manhasset stand. First, the WEB site says this stand has a minimum height of 26 inches. Not true. The minimum is 31 inches as all Manhasset stands. If you need a short stand - as I do - this is not it. Otherwise, it is an excellent stand. Mine is well made and seems to function as intended. It is as stable as any other music stand and the wide tray gives me room for four page music. I currently use two stand lights to get the whole tray illuminated and it holds that and four to six books of music with no problems. I wish it was 26 inches tall but, it is still an excellent stand.
