Comments about Martin M150 80/20 Bronze Round Wound Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings:
A decent set of strings for the price, but I would rather have my coated strings. I found the strings harder to play and less comfortable. The tone was average. Not a lot of ring or low end. If you play with a light touch, finger style, I would stick with coated (and I am not a coffee house hippy wannabe).

Comments about Martin M150 80/20 Bronze Round Wound Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings:

Comments about Martin M150 80/20 Bronze Round Wound Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings:
The bright tone you get from these guitar strings is truly amazing and will make any guitar sounds better. The quality is great and the strings retain their sound for about 4-7 months. For the price i couldn't ask for better strings
Comments about Martin M150 80/20 Bronze Round Wound Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings:
After spending a good chunk of change on a Martin HD28, I wanted to get the best sound out of it I possibly could. I gave a very favorable review recently for the Martin SP phosphor bronze Bluegrass strings, but as I played, my ear noticed a difference between those and the M150's. To my ear these aren't quite as bright, but they are just as loud, having rich, deep bass and nice, but not too crisp highs. Ultimately these strings gave me the sound I had been looking for, and believe me I've tried many before I decided on these. Get the SP's if you like a brighter sound, but give these a try if you like that deeper tone.
Comments about Martin M150 80/20 Bronze Round Wound Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings:
These strings may not be as trendy as the coated ones the hippies in the coffee shops play, but they offer you one thing; true tone, and a great value. Ok, so they offer two things. Buy them, you'll like them!
