Comments about Martin M170 80/20 Bronze Extra Light 10-Pack Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I use these on a lot of restrings for student guitars and on my own various instruments for practice and general purpose playing. I think if I were restringing for studio work or stage performance, I would go with the Martin SP series or D'Addarrio EJ series. These Martins really are a good buy!

I've been using these strings for 25 years. I can buy a 10 pack from musicians friend cheaper than anywhere else, that will last me about a year.

I have tried around 20 different acoustic string sets.
These seem to be the best for both quality and cost.
I like the light gage, yet I seem to get 2-3 months of use per set.

Love these strings. Extra light strings are easy to play and still have plenty of volume on all of my acoustic guitars, and Martin extra lights offer the best value and the best-playing, best-sounding combination of sizes that I have found (10-14-23-30-39-47). Great for strumming, picking, finger picking.
