Comments about Martin M540 Phosphor Bronze Light 3-Pack Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I recently switched to these strings after using 80/20 alloys for many decades. My 1975 D-35 Martin sounds better than ever!

            Good strings

Comments about Martin M540 Phosphor Bronze Light 3-Pack Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I usually buy the Martin SP strings, but these were a good deal, so I bought the regular Martins. They have a good warm tone, and are durable. They do feel rough compared to the SP's, and have more string noise. If you are recording or playing live, I would spend the extra money and get the Martin SP's.
