Comments about Martin M600 Standard Crystal Nylon Ukulele Strings:

Martin fluorocarbon strings are my favorites. They have just the right tension, just the right feel, and a nice sound at a good price. And I've played many brands of ukulele strings. Try a pack of Martins and see if you like them. Ukulele strings are a personal taste sort of thing - everyone likes something different.

Comments about Martin M600 Standard Crystal Nylon Ukulele Strings:

Theses strings bring out great tone on any ukulele. I've used them on two different types of ukulele and have noticed a big difference in these strings and in nylgut strings. Very impressed.

Comments about Martin M600 Standard Crystal Nylon Ukulele Strings:

I bought a cheap soprano to learn the uke. It came with Aquilla strings which are supposed to be one of the best but after 4 months it sounded way off. So i bought these and it now sounds better that new. I'm sold on these Martin strings and may restring my new Lanakai tenor uke which also came with Aquilla Nylgut. Youtube has videos on how to restring and it was easy.

Always value for the dollar with Martin.
I know I can always trust Martin when shopping for anything "Strings". This time was not different.

              Nice uke strings

              See above
String up nice and take much less time to "set" than Aquila Nylagut. Brighter than Nylaguts, so if you want a deeper tone, go with the Nylaguts. I really like these strings.

              String Upgrade

              By Richard King

              from Florida

Comments about Martin M600 Standard Crystal Nylon Ukulele Strings:

Bought these uke strings in order to improve the quality of strings on a rather inexpensive ukulele (Oscar Schmidt) that came with cheap strings. Had read a uke book that suggested the Martin flourocarbons and am most pleased with the improvement in both sound and ease of playing. These Martin strings sound terrific and are much easier on the fingers than the cheap ones that came with the uke.

              Great replacement strings

              By John T-Vv-ZF

              from Omaha, Nebraska

Comments about Martin M600 Standard Crystal Nylon Ukulele Strings:

I swapped out the stock Hilo strings that came with my soprano Flea and these sound MUCH better - they almost have a chime to them. It took a couple days to stretch them out (like any nylon-ish string) but they are a definite upgrade; more full and slightly louder too. Not bad for the price!

A big improvement over the old Martin uke strings!

              By Steve of The Barnkickers

              from Tampa Bay, Florida

Comments about Martin M600 Standard Crystal Nylon Ukulele Strings:

The old Martin nylon ukulele strings were not well regarded, but these new strings utilize a new material (fluorocarbon) and are much better with a bright, clear sound. They are similar to the popular Worth strings from Japan, but these will be much easier to find in your local music store. The gauge of the Martin strings is a bit light, but I found them to be a perfect match for my 1930's Martin style 1 and they also sounded good on my concert scale Flea.
