Comments about Martin Marquis Guitar Strap:

I have used Martin straps for years. So when I needed another one, I ordered this. Their premium one is apparently no longer available. This strap is two inches shorter than their old one, which was just barely adequate, and the description never mentioned the felt backing. I thought I was buying an all leather strap like they have always made. And the dark brown color is almost black in appearance. Martin can, and used to, make a quality strap bearing their name, but this one is not worthy...

                Okay for the money

                By Martin DC16-GTE

Comments about Martin Marquis Guitar Strap:

I bought the dark brown leather strap. The martin logo on it is very very nice and it is good quality leather. The reason I wouldn't buy this again however are that i'm 5'10 (not tall) and this is strap is still to small. I'm using it because it is a martin and i just bought a new martin d16gte. but i have to play it very high (oldschool) and i prefer to let it hang lower. maybe if your 5ft or shorter or if your name if you play country tunes circa 1950 then have at it.

                Wow...

Comments about Martin Marquis Guitar Strap:

I was expecting more from a Martin strap. I used it on my Fender DG-10LH and thanks to this strap, it has seen the ground numerous times. This strap is made of nice leather, but won't hold a thing!! I am very, very disappointed. I am throwing it out after 3 years of putting up with it.

                Strap is great...but...

Comments about Martin Marquis Guitar Strap:

This strap is well constructed and works seamlessly with Martin guitars. It is comfortable and aesthetic, but if you have wide shoulders like I do it is needs to be a couple inches longer. I wish Martin guitars were more compatible with other straps.
