OVERVIEW

Superior performance, longer life.

Rich tone should last as long as the inspiration does. Built on Martin's durable SP core wire, Martin SP Lifespan strings are the next level in studio and stage performance. Now with a more advanced proprietary treatment from America’s legendary guitar builder, SP Lifespan strings repel dirt, grit and other environmental elements that can quickly alter the sound of your strings. All six strings are treated to ensure a longer life. Martin developed a new and advanced method to treat strings, resulting in a process that ensures both the core and wrap are protected from corrosion. The molecular level treatment adds almost no mass to the string, will not flake or peel, and does not alter the vibration pattern like some string coatings can. The high-tensile strength SP core wire resists breakage and holds tunings longer – a perfect match to the treatment in creating a long life string. SP Lifespans are designed to last longer and sound better so you can play on.

Comments about Martin MSP7200 SP Lifespan Phosphor Bronze Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I believe thier the best strings I've ever used.I'm breaking in a new martin guitar with these strings. Three weeks i've strummed and picked very hard for two or three hours a day, sometimes more. These strings still sound wonderful, what a great coated string. How could they possibly be better.

Comments about Martin MSP7200 SP Lifespan Phosphor Bronze Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings:

Mostly played Elixers on my guitar but decided to try these for the price difference and since I had never tried phosphor bronze strings before. I must say that as soon as they were on and I played the first few chords I was blown away. Amazing warm tone that has great resonance. Can't wait for my fingers to get used to the mediums as these r my first with them too. For the price I say go for them. Not sure yet if they last as long as my Elixers as I have only had them for a short while.

Comments about Martin MSP7200 SP Lifespan Phosphor Bronze Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings:

You might pay a little more for these strings but they are woryh it when your playing with a groupe and you don't have to be continualy tuning due to change in atmosphere conditions. They hold their tone a lot longer so you don't have to change them as often.I have used them on my Martin HD35 since I bought it. Tried others but was sorry later and went back to tried and true.

Comments about Martin MSP7200 SP Lifespan Phosphor Bronze Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings:

Martin Life Span strings have demonstrated the same tone and resonance, if not better, than Martin standard phosphor-bronze stings in my comparison tests and they continue to perform at that level for weeks of continuous play.
