Comments about Martin Thinline Active Jack:

My brother-in-law bought me the Martin ThinLine Acoustic Pickup for Christmas last year to use in an Epiphone EJ-200 to replace a sound hole pickup I had installed. I had the ThinLine professionally installed and it did work but being a passive pickup I just couldn't get the loudness I was looking for even running it into a DI box with EQ settings and boost levels. I got the Active Jack and had it put in with the ThinLine and now it sounds amazing. I am very impressed with the overall sound and ease of installation.

    Does the Job and Cheap

Comments about Martin Thinline Active Jack:

I am using a fishman neo humbucker with this fishman made preamp. It add's some bass to the input into the amp which is needed for most passive mag pickups. Output is low, as there is only 3 db of gain, but so is the active humbucker. For the money it works for me, and yes I'd recommend it. Install is a cake walk ( I do know how to solder though). This preamp is very low noise. There you have it. Keith
