A durable stand dressed in concert black.

This Meinl Hand Cymbal Stand is made to last. It features sturdy double braced legs and is height adjustable by using a standard drum key. The cradles are padded for quiet rest and removal as well as to protect the cymbals. Between the cymbal cradles is small shelf handy for storing accessories. The black finish is a nice touch and gives the stand a refined look for concerts.

Comments about Meinl Concert Cymbal Stand:

So far, the stand works just fine. The above 1 star reviewer must've been quite confused; you don't have to remove anything or use a screw driver to adjust the cradle. If you look down at the accessory tray, you'll notice two tension rods. Just tighten these with a drum key and the arms won't flap around. Or loosen them to fold it in so you can pack it up (a nice feature that isn't available on some other cymbal holders). Plus the black looks real nice on stage. I can pick them up and set them down pretty quickly, without problems/noise.
    I play in multiple orchestras.

Comments about Meinl Concert Cymbal Stand:

Very poor design. The arms that hold the cymbals are loose and flopping around. You cannot set cymbals in them quickly, nor can you adjust the tension in the arms without peeling off the glued on pad, removing two screws and separating the clamp. Even then, the clamps use philips screws and cannot be tightened enough to secure the arms properly. This stand lasted all of 15 minutes in my percussion section. Save yourself the troubles and buy a different one.
