The Mighty Mite MM2700 Stratocaster replacement body is made of swamp ash and has a standard gloss finish. It is available in a variety of colors. Use this body to design and create the guitar you've always wanted.
Since the 1970's Mighty Mite has manufactured custom and replacement guitar parts for luthiers, repairmen, and guitarists who can't wait to hot-rod their Fender Stratocaster or similar style guitar. Mighty Mite guitar bodies are cut from the finest American ash and Canadian maple. The warmth, tone, and finish will blow you away!
Note: May not fit Mexican models. Be sure to check screw fittings and measurements before modifying your guitar.

Bought the seafoam green for an Yngwie Malmsteen clone. Fit perfectly to the Mighty Mite scalloped maple neck. You will need to drill for the bridge, pickguard and input jack cup. I also had to make the hole for the input jack wires larger and had to make the holes larger for the trem claw screws. The existing holes were way too tight. There is no shielding in any of the cavities, so that needs to be done as well. Having said that, the quality of this body is outstanding! Zero finish flaws and has a great tone when knocked on. No dead spots. I have been buying "Warmoth" bodies for a while and this is easily comparable to their solid swamp ash finished bodies. But without the wait and easily $100 cheaper. :) I highly recommend this if you are even a little bit adept with tools. I used a hand drill for everything, even the 6 holes for a vintage style trem and it works perfectly. Get one, you wont regret it.

That happened to me even after e-mailing to inquire about this issue.
Otherwise the body is pretty good.

Mighty Mite is a well known Strat body maker and the product was as expected.
Great Swamp Ash wood and the paint job was very nice. I was a little concerned that the Sea Foam Green color would be correct when it arrived because the color in the photo online is washed out from the flash photography making the photo look sort of like Mint Green. But when I received the body it was what I had hoped for - Frender's Classic (1956 Buick) Sea Foam Green!
Neck dropped right in perfect. The time and effort it would take to turn out a body like this in a home shop just does not make "bang for the buck" sense to me.

very Nice body, not too heavy.
there were a few very small fish eyes in the finish, didn't really bother me.
the connecting hole from the jack cavity to the pup cavity was too small.
nothing a drill can't fix. overall it's very well made. the mighty mite neck I used fit perfect.
I had to shim it just a tad. I used a piece of window screen. I have the antique white with a
tortise shell pickguard. loodks great.

Overall, the build went well. My one problem with the body was the size of the wire holes from the output jack to the pickup cavity. WAY too small if you're using vintage style cloth covered wire. Adequate for plastic covered wire however. I had to use a needle file to enlarge the hole for the ground and hot wires. The body was a bit heavier than I thought it might be, but now that it's put together, the entire guitar has a great feel. The neck is a Mighty Mite neck as well. The neck pocket was a perfect fit.
Solid work. Good flexibility in allowing for different pickup configurations. Paint job was flawless.
Great price. Have been shopping for a project body for some time. Most other sources were two to three times more. The body was backordered by about three weeks, but worth the wait.

Paint work was fabulous, holes drilled for wire transfer, excellent quality.
The finish was flawless, all the parts I bought fit perfectly. If you know how to use any tools, there should be no problem. Always measure the neck pocket for proper fit, but a Mighty Mite neck fits perfectly.

I scoured ebay looking for deals on strat bodies, but in the end the mighty mite was the best option. You can even save a few bucks by getting the unfinished one.
Strat body made to fender specs. HSH pickup routing. All the holes for the wires and the trem claw screws are predrilled, except where the bridge mounts in top of the body. Mine came with a nice white finish no flaws in it whatsoever.
As far as I can tell this body is top notch, no corners were cut.
You can't even find a used MIM body cheaper than this on ebay.

I purchased the sea foam green and with only very minor inperfections ( a few brown specs that you can't remove, and some "dents" that you can't feel or see unless you hold it just right) but this is not a big problem for me. BUT you have drill every hole exept the the ones for the springs which is a problem unless you have a drill press or you are not a perfectionist and want to do it with a drill or by hand. It is not impossible but will be difficult. My final comment is that it is pretty hard to put the term system right where it needs to be. But I still am very happy with the body

I bought this for a "partscaster" project and can find nothing wrong with it. I got the artic white and it has a flawless gloss finish. It is routed out for all the pickup, trem, wire routing and jack areas. The pickup routing has the black anti RFI paint already done.The neck routing fits the MM neck I got to go with this perfectly not too tight and not too loose. Just an FYI since there is no picture on this site yet...the screw holes are not predrilled for the pickguard, trem or straplocks but is not a problem. Overall its nice, no issues here.
