I purchased this neck about 2 years ago as an upgrade for my MIM Statocaster. I've gotten so use to it that nothing else feels(or plays)quite right anymore. Maybe it's some special voodoo that the manufactures have added...I don't know. What I do know is that my second Strat is now being upgraded with this very same neck.
Honestly - It's just that good! Oh, and by the way. It comes with a light satin finish. Don't destroy it by applying something else(please!) It's ready to play right out of the box. Enjoy!

First of all the neck width at the nut is 1 5/8", the specs on MF site said 1 11/16". The neck on the guitar I wanted this for is 1 5/8", had I known that I wouldn't have bought it. The finish is so thin that it almost feels like bare wood, very much like a 2011 Squier Standard Strat that I have. Mine had a hole drilled in the heel for some unknown reason that was close to where you'd need to drill for the screws but not quite there so would need to be filled. There's not supposed to be any holes drilled on the heel of these. The ends of the frets were sharp and would need to be filed down. I got it on sale so I suppose it's not bad for the price. If you are really strapped for cash, and I mean to the point where every penny counts, you may want to consider this. Otherwise, I'd suggest spending more for a real Fender neck. I certainly would not buy one again.

This is the second time I have used one of these necks.they are well made and already set at the

Great construction and finish. Neck is very straight and has great sustain. There are a few raised frets which need to be filed down but not enough to make it a problem. For the money, this is a great buy.

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2902 Stratocaster Replacement Neck with Maple Fingerboard:

Great neck for the price and plays well. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality, budget conscious, neck replacement.
Great neck for the price! I had to knock down the tangs a bit to smooth out the feel. That is quite common on ALL necks though. Thank you Musician's Friend.
Great quality. However, I would like to see a NO FINISH/NO OIL neck available from MM.

I used this neck on a 'Partsocaster' that I put together from bits and pieces that I had. Well made, straight, plays well although it could probably do with another couple of coats of clear at some stage but its OK straight out of the box

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2902 Stratocaster Replacement Neck with Maple Fingerboard:

this replaced a worn out neck on a 1986 Fender Japan Strat. The original was the best neck I ever came across, and when the frets wore and it developed the dreaded kink at fret 16, I decided to replace it instead of repairing it. I'm not real fond of the 9 1/2" radius, or the flat C back profile, but the neck works. Words of caution - didn't fit the neck pocket well (loose), and the fret ends are ridiculously not finished. On the plus side, it oddly didn't need any fret leveling at all, plays well all the way up.
