Comments about MONO Cases M80 Electric Guitar Case:
Good gig bag. Been using it for my strat at least twice a week for 5 months. So far, so good. Well made, holds the guitar nice & snug and gives as much protection as a gig bag can. I've had cheap gig bags in the past. Glad i spent the extra $$ for this. Definitely would recommend.

Comments about MONO Cases M80 Electric Guitar Case:
Compact and lightweight. Looks very cool. I carry around my most precious guitars when traveling by plane. I listed 'poor protection' as a CON because somehow it feels like, for the price, they could do a little bit better; although certainly marginally. A little bit expensive, but definitely worth the cost considering the combination of compactness, protection and looks.
Comments about MONO Cases M80 Electric Guitar Case:
Overall, this is still a very nice case. I've traveled with it on airplanes, buses, and subways. I use it as my main storage for two of my guitars, and I use it every day. Had it not been for the ripped zipper and the issue with the bottom padding not being thick/supportive enough, I would have given it a 9-10 rating. However, those are serious concerns to me.
I own two of these cases and basically don't use the hard-shell cases anymore. It has a very nice thick padding, high quality plush lining, a brace for the guitar neck, plenty of room in the pockets. Lots of nice little details such as a little pocket for picks built into the velcro strap that goes over the neck brace. Pockets open easily and you can fit a laptop in the large outer pocket. Or a couple of scoring notepads plus a couple of guitar cables, etc. The pocket opens easily and has a bulge construction so that you can actually pull it out and open it wide which makes it easy to get stuff in and out of it. The two-way zipper is a nice touch.
This is where I'm disappointed with these cases. On my newest case (about 6 months old), the zipper for the little pocket up at the headstock has ripped from the seam at the top. About 1" of it. It still works, but it's a little harder to close, and obviously, small items could fall out of it if the case was laying with the headstock down. My other disappointment is the bottom padding. It has collapsed where the strap peg rests on it. If I'm not really careful when I put the case down, I hear the strap peg hit the hard floor, and it gives me the chills every time it happens as I envision the wood on my precious strat split. Luckily it hasn't happened so far, but it's VERY annoying that a case that is otherwise so well thought out has this blatant design flaw. It's just unacceptable. I hope the designers at Mono read these reviews and take them to heart.
It's clearly one of the more expensive softcases out there. And with the aforementioned issues I've had with mine, I can't really give it a better rating.
Comments about MONO Cases M80 Electric Guitar Case:
I have owned them all, soft cases, gig bags, poly foam, and hard-shell, i thought my problems were over when i bought a hard-shell case, it was starting to wear and tear and around the time i got a new guitar that was too long for my hard case and so i purchased this case, and i have to say that this case is the absolute best case ive ever used, im not exactly super strong so the super comfy backpack straps are a dream come true since i usually have my arms full of gear, this case can hold a guitar, tons of cables, a power source to a pedal, headphones paper, a bottle of soda and anything else you could ever need in a case. its a gigging guitarist dream come true.
Comments about MONO Cases M80 Electric Guitar Case:
The perfect score is not an exaggeration. This is the best soft case on the market. It is reinforced in all the right places, comfortable, well-designed, and it keeps your guitar perfectly safe. I had no problem watching the case tip over with a +$5,000 guitar in it. Waterproof too!Sure it seems pricey, but it is worth it.
