OVERVIEW

A lightweight acoustic case delivering heavyweight protection.

The Mono Cases M80 Acoustic Guitar Hybrid Case is one of the lightest, thinnest, strongest, and most versatile carrying cases for professional musicians. A hybrid case-looks and feels like a gig bag, protects like a case-featuring an ultra light laminated foam shell with strategically placed ABS panels, the M80 provides unmatched protection for your most prized guitars. Smart features like Clip/Tuck straps make for easy airport travel, while the bag's streamlined profile helps you slip through the crowds.

Inside the M80 guitar case, the patented neckbrace suspends the guitar's headstock, protecting it from impacts that could otherwise snap the neck. An oversized fastening strap quickly secures the guitar neck against a specialized high-density foam block keeping the tuning pegs away from the sides of the case. The guitar's strap pin is protected by a bumper system of high-density foam, industrial rubber and ABS "eet, diverting vertical impact up and around the body of the guitar.

Constructed with high-tech materials and triple reinforced stitching the Mono Cases dreadnought guitar case is extremely durable. The M80 acoustic guitar case has a waterproof outer shell, steel riveted handle and shoulder straps, industrial rubber sole and piping, and oversized ergonomic zippers.

Could be a little deeper...

Comments about M80 Dreadnought Guitar Hybrid Case:

M-80 cases are great and I have about a half-dozen, including standard electric, semi-hollow, and bass. The Dreadnought version is just barely deep enough to hold my dreadnought. At 4.75" deep, the guitar feels stuffed in there.

Good solid gig bag

Comments about MONO M80 Dreadnought Guitar Hybrid Case:

A decent sturdy case with multiple pockets. I returned it because after having it I decided a gig bag would be better suited for an electric and not an acoustic. I really didn't have the need for it as much as I liked it and would still have a hard shell case for my acoustic. The bottom was nicely padded and it had a nice locking system. It fit my dread perfectly but smaller guitars did not fit. I did not think I could use it for multiple size guitars. I may get one for my strat but sticking to hard shell cases for acoustic.

Comments about MONO M80 Dreadnought Guitar Hybrid Case:

This is the perfect gig bag for traveling with your guitar. There is plenty of storage room, provides great protection of my guitar, and is so comfortable to wear when strapped to my back. The distribution of weight makes the experience of carrying it feel POUNDS lighter as compared to my previous gig bag. I bought the dreadnought model because I needed a gig bag for my Gibson SJ100. This bag barely allows the guitar from headstock to output jack and it is a snug fit. But the bag is deep enough to set the guitar in. But I am very happy with the bag. Pricey, but worth every penny. Built to LAST!

I have been looking for a new gig bag for my acoustic guitars for awhile and when a friend showed me his MONO case, I knew I'd buy it immediately. I ordered it the very next day. I have some very expensive acoustic guitars and I now feel safe rotating them for gigs with this new soft case. I highly recommend this gig bag. I am a working professional, so this was an important decision and had to be the right one.

Comments about MONO M80 Dreadnought Guitar Hybrid Case:

I was looking for a new case for my Breedlove when the original case handle had broken. I've had good experience with other Mono products in the past. As I commute with my instrument multiple times a week, I was willing to give a lighter alternative a chance. This case is fantastic. It's built like a tank and with plenty of storage options. My guitar is a touch smaller in dimension than the bag, but the fit is still solid.

Comments about MONO M80 Dreadnought Guitar Hybrid Case:

Bought this bag for my Taylor 814 and Gibson J-45. It is very well made and well thought out for the working musician. It has plenty of storage compartments, study zippers and tons of padding to protect your instrument. I like the neck support with velcro strap that holds the neck in place totally supported on thick padding as well as the end pin padding protecting the guitar from damage. There is also extra padding around the bottom of the bag so the end pin is held about an inch away from harms way. I think it is priced a little high at the 200-225 street price point but you get what you pay for ....I think I will buy on for my electric guitars as well ! Sadly my big arch top guitar does not fit in there so if you have a L-5 size jazz box don't get this one, it is a little too small for that.

Comments about MONO M80 Dreadnought Guitar Hybrid Case:

I have 2 Mooridian cases that I LOVE (double guitar and double elec bass) but always wanted to try a Mono case. When I need an acoustic case I took the plunge. It feels very sturdy. I have no worries about my instrument inside of it. The pockets are roomy - they are very specific in their compartments. Not sure if that's a good thing or not. Time will tell. I'm used to a wide open space. The straps are comfy, though not digging the connecting strap, but that's a personal preference - plus my acoustic is extremely light, and I'm extremely big ;) so it ends up in the way.

I hope this stands the test of time. I can't imagine it not, seems built like a tank...I'd like to try the vertigo next. looks equally as cool...

Comments about MONO M80 Dreadnought Guitar Hybrid Case:

This soft case is as protective as a hard case but is lighter and more forgiving when you bang into something with it. I got it so I could carry my guitar, amp and a mic stand to a gig in one trip. The padding is very dense. The zippers work great, it is suppose to be rain proof but I have not tested that yet. The storage pockets are big enough to be useful. I can put a three ring binder in the big front pocket but it is not large enough for a normal sized PC. A tablet would fit. I am very happy with my purchase.
