OVERVIEW

A lightweight acoustic case delivering heavyweight protection.

The Mono Cases M80 Acoustic Guitar Hybrid Case is one of the lightest, thinnest, strongest, and most versatile carrying cases for professional musicians. A hybrid case-looks and feels like a gig bag, protects like a case-featuring an ultra light laminated foam shell with strategically placed ABS panels, the M80 provides unmatched protection for your most prized guitars. Smart features like Clip/Tuck straps make for easy airport travel, while the bag's streamlined profile helps you slip through the crowds.

Inside the M80 guitar case, the patented neckbrace suspends the guitar's headstock, protecting it from impacts that could otherwise snap the neck. An oversized fastening strap quickly secures the guitar neck against a specialized high-density foam block keeping the tuning pegs away from the sides of the case. The guitar's strap pin is protected by a bumper system of high-density foam, industrial rubber and ABS "eet, diverting vertical impact up and around the body of the guitar.

Constructed with high-tech materials and triple reinforced stitching the Mono Cases dreadnought guitar case is extremely durable. The M80 acoustic guitar case has a waterproof outer shell, steel riveted handle and shoulder straps, industrial rubber sole and piping, and oversized ergonomic zippers.

Comments about MONO M80 Dreadnought Guitar Hybrid Case:

I have 2 Mooridian cases that I LOVE (double guitar and double elec bass) but always wanted to try a Mono case. When I need an acoustic case I took the plunge. It feels very sturdy. I have no worries about my instrument inside of it. The pockets are roomy - they are very specific in their compartments. Not sure if that's a good thing or not. Time will tell. I'm used to a wide open space. The straps are comfy, though not digging the connecting strap, but that's a personal preference - plus my acoustic is extremely light, and I'm extremely big ;) so it ends up in the way.

I hope this stands the test of time. I can't imagine it not, seems built like a tank...I'd like to try the vertigo next. looks equally as cool...

I play 300 shows per year and this gig bag goes to every one of them. It offers great protection and is light and comfortable to throw on your back.

Comments about MONO M80 Dreadnought Guitar Hybrid Case:

This soft case is as protective as a hard case but is lighter and more forgiving when you bang into something with it. I got it so I could carry my guitar, amp and a mic stand to a gig in one trip. The padding is very dense. The zippers work great, it is suppose to be rain proof but I have not tested that yet. The storage pockets are big enough to be useful. I can put a three ring binder in the big front pocket but it is not large enough for a normal sized PC. A tablet would fit. I am very happy with my purchase.

            Mono Cases: Worth the price?

            By

            from Tennessee

Comments about MONO M80 Dreadnought Guitar Hybrid Case:

This is a fantastic product and i would eagerly recommend Mono to any professional musician, music student, or hobbyist who travels.
Upon first seeing this case/bag I was impressed with the aesthetic qualities, but I was concerned that it would merely be a pretty package with mediocre durability. I am extremely happy to find myself extremely mistaken.
Now that i have been using the Mono M80 Case for my Seagull Cutaway Performer, I have found that Mono does not joke around. Every aspect of the case was taken into consideration. The pockets are roomy but do not add bulk even when full; the overall weight of the case is low for something of this caliber; the "Headlock" system does not allow my guitar to move once strapped down.
The external aspects: Durable nylon, ballistic nylon, hardened rubber, and plain rubber. Pockets zip-and-unzip easily and the headstock pocket may be the only piece of this work of art that I feel like criticising. It doesn't open far enough. That is it.
Pros: Roomy enough to fit almost any acoustic guitar, durable formed foam and external materials, and the "headlock".
Cons: Price which, in my opinion, is completely worth it.
As listed in the above features section, this case is extremely well made. I do not think that any aspects of the case will wear unless i decide to drag it behind my car or strap it to the top of a train.
This is not a budget friendly case. It will last, though, and it will not disappoint you. If you can spend the money, then by all means do so.
