Comments about Monster Cable Classic 1/4 Inch Dual Angled Instrument Cable:

I'm a young guitarist that's been playing on cheap gear for the last 5 years. I just got established enough to start my collection a year ago and let me tell you, I went through an INSANE amount of patch cords in the process.

Monster says these cables will "make your music sound better" and all that but I don't really know about that. I haven't checked and when I had the opportunity to check my gear didn't sound perfect for a dozen other reasons anyway. Regardless the selling point for me, and the reason I'm 100% okay with paying these prices are the fact that I've never had one break. About 3 years ago my dad got me one. I only had it for a year before my brother took it, but it still works. We don't plug in and stay stationary with our gear either. We're always bring it to a friend's house, or playing open mic nights, or whatever. Since then I've gotten 8 of these, a 6' for my pedals to amp, and a 12' or so for my guitar to pedals. I don't have to worry about them breaking or shorting out. Very very very well built.
