Hi, Rooster here again with comments from a working professional Jazz man. I've always counted on Monster cables to get the most sound from my jazz box to the amp. After countless connects & disconnects, Monster cables hold up to the rigors nightly gigs and never give any problems. This Monster cable is flexible, durable, and does a great job of carrying the sound. -- Rooster

This cable definitely gives your a very clear sound and it does it well, for the most part. I pass my cables through my strap, so that I don't yank them out or trip over them, and so I figured an angled end would be very beneficial. The cable cuts out every once in a while, and almost any time that I move around. I don't know if this is just with my specific cable, but my cheap, brandless cable does a better job. This cable is definitely road-worthy, but at first it is TOO sturdy and tangles up easily since it doesn't bend well. I would say get it, but any other cheaper cable could do the very same or better job, with a very small tonal difference.

Comments about Monster Cable Monster Rock 1/4" Straight - Angled Instrument Cable:
I was looking for a cable that would last a very long time and is of good quality. This Monster Cable is simply amazing, even on lower wattage and low quality amps it still delivered a cleaner and more defined sound than other cables through the same gear. The angled tip is not very interesting on guitars with Strat jacks (especially if it's mounted on the top of the body) but if you can switch the tips around it is an amazing cable. It is rather stiff at first but with enough moving around it becomes more flexible and allows for more movement.

I used to use another cables in my gear but they weren't MONSTERS like this one is! It improved my eletric guitar sound's quality and I am not worried about the durability of the cable because it is really tanky!
Highly recommended!

Comments about Monster Cable Monster Rock 1/4" Straight - Angled Instrument Cable:
This is the 2nd of the same cable I have tried since the 1st one had to be returned. It cuts out easy and the wiring seems to have a short near the angled end. This is exactly what happened to the 1st one I bought from MF...then they exchanged it without any issues...but the 2nd cable had EXACTLY the same problem. I think bad design due to the heavy gauge of the cable shorts it out about 1 inch back from the end. Would not recommend!

Comments about Monster Cable Monster Rock 1/4" Straight - Angled Instrument Cable:
These are by far the best cables on the market. i tried a more expensive Mogami cable and it didn't compare in quality or sound.
I got all monster cables for my rig.2 for the Effects loop, patch cables, and instrument cables.
The first thing I noticed was that it cleaned up the sound dramatically. They produce a clear clean signal. There is little to no sound degradation with these. They have a PVC shielding that helps a great deal in canceling out rouge radio/electrical waves.
They are a bit pricey, but i would say its well worth the investment. Your ears will thank you. i'll never play through anything else.
As far as quality, ive had no problems so far. they have a pretty tough but flexible rubber. I don't see them falling apart from normal wear and tear.
