These cables are durable and they are great for live sound. I have used Performer 500 cables for over 15 years for reinforcing local bands and these have been awesome. Bands comment that they can hear themselves much better and the sound is really clean. I attribute a lot of this to good cables. The fact that they have a lifetime warranty if they go bad is an extra comfort, but I've never had to use the warranty.
If you can get these on sale, they are an awesome deal. I had all of my cables and a bunch of gear stolen after a show a couple of years ago. My first purchase with the insurance money included a bunch of Monster Perform 500 cables.

Great investment if you truly want the best audio possible.
I've used the cheap cables foe many years. That is, way before there were such things as premium cables. You pretty much accepted what was available. Then comes Monster Cables. I'm kind of cheap at times and paying this much for a mic cable seemed outrageous! One day I was feeling rich so I broke down and bought one of those overpriced "rich guy" cables. Oh my goodness............these things really do make a NOTICABLE improvement in my sound. I won't go into bohring the details. They are worth the investment if you're serious about achieving the best audio quailty possible. Now all of my guitar cables are Monster. All of my sound system cables are Monster. Buy em........youll never regret it!!!

ever since my car audio days I knew that cables most times make the difference wether vocal like these perfect 500,s or cable for axe to amp even patch cables in a pedal board I am a pickup maker and guitar tech for bands in town who have heard me play, how do you get that PRS SE 600.00 axe sound like it does when i do slash solos, it's several things on this the pickups and the internal wiring and switches, but I have beginners come to me alot saying I'm getting better but theres somthing missing, I have put myself out of a good axe redoe job cause I'm like 1st thing is did this cable come in some value pack? yes all of them except I paid 12.00 for these 2 so I could get angled, I explain they call back and say wow, yeh all that signal your playing is actually making its way to the amp, why my pedal board is homeade my patch cables of course at first were just good ones, but when venues got bigger with crowdes I yes have paid 25.00 for 8 patch cables, yes the 3" cords angled on each side to patch 1 pedal to the next, but I kept an old patch and put it inline between 2 pedals and people can see and hear right there its the same with vocal and like the guy above it bites to relearn somthing cause of weak or distorted, or bled into cables, dont have to be most or even that high cost now days companies like planet waves or what I do is make all my own just if buying on budget check the feel is it fully sheilded you can feel it, but I would buy quad sheild cable 100' roll and then I buy the ends as needed, now sale them along with all else but you can have to play songs that didnt sound right before even though you played it like it says or is written but it could easily be cables or gear and those of us with effects on vocals and instruments we have lots to get mic to processor ,processor to mixer, mixer to P.A.,and same w/ axe equipment.

This is the most transparent mic cable I have come across. It beats the pants off Mogami's Gold Series for lush, vibrant vocals. This cable is worth every penny.
