Ok, I will be honest, I was very skeptical about purchasing these for our Event Center because of all the obvious reasons, " No, the name does not matter..." , " Its live, no one will notice, no one cares...." , "Why would you buy such things, just get 50 others of another company for the same price of 2 of these."When I got them, the quality of the cable was amazing. They feel strong and hefty, the plugs are nice and fat and it came with a cable tie. So that was the first thing I noticed, but at the same time, just because they look nice, does not mean they will preform great. We used 5 of these this weekend for one of our concerts and the performers where amazed of the quality of the sound (2 for vocals 3 for instrument mics) however I was amazed at how quite the stage was. There was no noise at all! That only happens when we are indoors, not outdoors. So I began thinking lets test these cables. I pulled the main vocal and replaced with a high quality standard music-store-brand mic cable. As soon as I un-muted the main vocal, I was getting noise ( sounded like pink-noise in the background) I asked a stage hand to test the mic for me, and wow, he sounded muddy. I switched the cable back to the Monster and WOW everything was clear, clean and the vocal was crisp. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!Thank you for making a great cable!

I was out on the road without enough XLR cables, and with tons of perfectly silent, rugged and reliable non-monster cables at home, I couldn't justify anything more than the cheapest they had at Guitar Center. Bad move. Surprisingly, these cables we're, in fact, the cheapest. They also worked great for a few days. When I got them back home, however, the buzz, hum and even radio broadcasts these cables picked up made them unusable. Not wanting to bother returning them, I cut away the rubber sheath around one of the connectors to investigate the problem. The first thing I found is the actual connectors are nothing more than the run of the mill connectors that are readily available all over eBay. The second thing I found was that the cable was in fact wired INCORRECTLY. Knowing this, I cut the cable as close to the connector as possible and spliced it back together with the correct wiring. Naturally, it was dead silent.I always knew monster cables we're overpriced, however, I never knew they were just flat out bad quality. Never will I ever buy a monster cable again.

I've been singing for over 35 years and used just about every kind of cable made through those years. I finally found a cable that is awesome!!! It's dependable, strong,has high quality, and it's lifetime warranty makes it so easy to have it replaced immediately to say the least of saving you money!!! This is my cable until I retire although no intentions on retiring!!!

"It's a tough world out there, you can never have enough Monsters backing you up...." "When planing the setup for the current stage plot, you need to have enough cable to make the distance and it has to have the ability to move that sound..." "These cables have never let me down..." "As musical Director of "Stone House Band" when I set up a stage plot I don't want to have to fool with cables that were supposed to work and now are acting wonky, There are lot's more other things that need attention, it's nice to have confidence in an old friend who's never let you down.

Had ordred up a PA system from musicans friend, came with some cheap mic cables and mics. The Mics would occasional cut out, even if you didn't touch them...and when you touched them or moved them, they would cut out fairly often. Ordered up a couple SM58 mics with these cables, problem solved. Sound quality is probably the same, but at least you get a solid connection that doesn't cut out!!
