If you play a fairly decent cabinet this is the cable you should already be playing on. I had a cheapie but playing with it seemed to lack high end. The monster cable between your head and cab makes all the difference. I was skeptical at first but when I heard it I removed all doubts. Best warranty there is! You wont have to buy another one even if this breaks! This is recording quality and I want to buy more! I play a 5150 and a gibson v connecting to a marshall 1960a cab and this cable really brings it to life! Very durable! I playout live alot and if you have heard our tone- MonsterCables are a big part of it.

I'm not sure what all the other reviewers are thinking they hear, but this cable sounds pretty much identical to the stock marshall cheapy speaker cables... I bought one when my cable got messed up after a show when it got slammed in a ATA hinge. This thing is built like a tank, first the cable and insulation are quite thick and sturdy, then it's wrapped in a wire mesh... no more cuts... ever...
Really the only thing that sets this cable apart from others is the construction, its bullet proof, will never fail due to cuts or slamming it in a hinge or trunk door etc.
As for everyone raving about the sound difference, I think it's the "placebo effect" talking... perhaps with the $50ish they think it has to sound better than the $10 ones??
The one speaker cable that does sound markedly better than most is the Mogami Gold Speaker Cable with Neutriks, about $10 cheaper, sounds better than the Monster Pro, and very durable though probly not as durable as the Monster(but lets face it, the Monster Pro is very much overkill for anyone short of arena bands of the 70's, 80's and 90's that played 300 shows a year)

Monster is the only cable I use. I had a Monster S-100 speaker cable that I used for a bit. But I wanted to upgrade all of my cables so I went from the S-100 line to the pro 1000 line. And I dont have a single unkind word to say about these or any other Monster cables Ive owned. But these have a way better sound than the S-100 did. Very noticeable difference in the sound clarity. These cables are made by the gods of thunder or something! I believe in Monsters!! If you care about your sound at all, spend the extra cash. Way worth it!!!

Bad news first, It looks like every other speaker cable. The good news is that these things will improve your tone, period. I wish I would have found these a long time ago. It drastically improved my bass notes. I used to get a "whooooo" tone when I hit low notes, especially in drop tunings. Now, I get to actually hear the notes and they sound dang good. I'm in the process of replacing all my cables with the Studio Pro's. Thanks Monster Cable!!!

I've tried a ton of things to get more bass out of my Marshall TSL 100. EQ's, Power Attenuator's, Sonic Maximizer's and all, this cable definitely had the most bang for the buck. With an MXL 10-Band EQ running through the loop, and just this cable, my Marshall has just as much, and tighter low end, plus way better highs running through a 1960a cab than our other guitarists Mesa Dual Recto running through a Recto cab. It's ridiculous. Definitely worth the extra cash for this cable.

I bought one of these and my sound did improve. But there is no real difference between some other cables. They do take more of a beating. If you experiance lots of interferance these do help.

I will never use anything else in my cabs. I have 2 3 footers and every little piece of my sound come through perfectly without hum. Single coils, humbuckers, tubes or not these cables will help your sound more than you could ever imagine! Highly Recommend!
