Ok, so duh, 12' and 8" Monster instrument cable. If you already know, skip my review. Monster is an awesome cable.
They look pretty cool, but those connectors at the ends are more than cool. That little waved colored line helps you easily pull the cable from an instrument or amp, but also sheaths the negative current which most cables leave exposed. This reduces noise, especially from ungrounded power (we've all been there) They also are a really really effective strain relief which will GREATLY increase the life of the cable. Everyone that knows how to fix cables knows that 99% of the time they fail right at the jack. Of course these will be hard to fix if that day ever comes. Great sturdy shielding throughout the length of the cable as well.
I know some of you are thinking that this is too short for live performances. However I'll be jumping from a D/I, a Compressor, and a wireless. The 12' cable let's that wireless at the end of my chain somewhere better than just right ontop of my amp.
Of course an Elbow connector at one end would have been nice, but hey, what's perfect?

These cables are terrible; I can't imagine why Monster puts their name on them. I purchased two on a MF sale; at about the same time, a bandmate purchased two at a retail store. All four cables failed within three months -- all at the point where the cable goes into the molded plug. I own good-quality cables from another mfr that I have been using every week for more than seven years, so the problems were NOT due to rough handling.

To begin with it's a Monster Cable. Reliable, Rugged, and it's like a high end handtool (if it goes wrong, Monster will replace it. Most importantly, to me, NO NOISE on both my Line6 and my VOX, not to mention clean and noiseless thru the mixing board. The patch cables are great too, I bought 2 sets this time. Bought them as the stupid deal of the day. You gotta be nuts not to pick a up some of these. My Guitars thank you.

These cables work great and have a LIFETIME warrenty so if they ever fail, monster will replace them. You never have to buy another cable again. You can't beat that deal with a baseball bat. I also like the color rings to match up endes. It helps keep a spagetti mess plugged in to the correct plugs because you can match the colors of each end.

I think these cables are great. I picked them up on the Stupid Deal of the Day. I bought 4 sets so I got free shipping and I turned my son on to a set. Great price for sure. No noise, unlike my old ones, and they come with a life time warranty.
