I have been using this strap for 9 months now with some Schaller strap locks. This strap is good for light guitars or cheap ones that you don't mind getting a little banged up but if you have something heavy and expensive I really suggest something better than this.Using this after 3 months I had my guitar pop off and broke a tuning machine and so after that I got the strap locks and I HIGHLY suggest that anyone using any type of straps like this get them.

I bought 2 of these. One was fine. On the other one, the leather ends were so thin and stretchy, I wouldn't trust it to hold my guitar. I took some scrap leather and cut new ends for it. I sewed the ends I made, to the inside of the existing ends. This made the ends much thicker and stronger. I trust it now. I also sewed a piece of suade leather to the inside of the strap where the strap comes over my shoulder. This keeps the nylon strap from slipping and causing the guitar to go into a nose dive, Not a bad deal for the price, but no guarantee you'll get a good one. I don't think there is a quality control inspection before the manufacturer ships them out.

good and bad

The straps works ok with my extremely light sg, however the holes get larger each time I use it. It won't even hold my les paul I got. Save your money.

Whatever, man

I guess it's all right. I have to say it never stays on. I'm afraid to use it sometimes, but if you hold onto your guitar it should be just fine most of the time. It's only 2 bucks though, so you really can't complain.

Alright for the price

You get what you pay for. The main problems I have with it are that it comes off alot, and even when it's not coming off, it feels weak - but I haven't encountered anything wrong with it like the ends stretching or the actual strap fraying... it's a great strap to buy to use while you save up for a better one.

Not so good strap

I bought this strap about a year ago. This strap tangles A LOT!! So beware but the price is cheap. I would recommend buy 5 of these and put them in your case/gig bag for a spare sor something.

Cheap crap , not even worth 5 bucks .

One word needed to describe this guitar strap , Crap . This is the biggest piece of cheap crap I ever bought. The strap itself is like some cheap cotton. And the ends are like this extremly thin piece of cotton with a 1/4 mm piece of fake leather on it. It looks nothing like the pictures thats advertised (it does'nt say musician friend on it and its not as thick as the one in the picture shows either). Its just overpriced piece of cheap crap that should be handed out in boxes for free at concerts and the like. Don't buy this strap , I threw it in the garbich the first second I saw it. Don't buy it, your wasting you money , its crap.

BAD!

By Branden Hubbell

I got this strap about 6 months ago and I just got rid of it. It went after the first day. It looks nothing like the picture( does'nt say musicians friend on it, not as thick, not real leather) after the first day the ends broke and my guitar hit the floor. I was so angry. DON'T GET IT!!!!!

Not to good even though its cheap

I got this about 2 weeks ago and its already shot. I bought it because i needed a better strap. I found out my other strap was better. Im afraid im going to drop my guitar one day because of this strap. At first it was alright but then after about the first day i used it it started to fall off. I should have listen to the reviews. Everyone that says it stretchs they are right. If u dont jump around alot then its ok. The strap is to the point that it falls off all the time. Even for a beginner that doesnt have alot of money save up a little and get a better one.
