Hard to rate a guitar strap. It either works and is comfortamle or it's not. I have several guitars and straps. I have expensive straps and cheap ones too. While this is not the best strap I own... it is the most used one. If you need an inexpensive strap that does the job and looks cool, here you go. This strap is very adjustable going from having the guitar chest high all the way down to gun slinger style. I've never had a failure. They seem to last a pretty long time.
Highly adjustable, very comfortable. It's a strap, there's not too many features.
I own 3 or 4 of these. One w/strap locks. One I use on different guitars (always being taken off and on). I have one which stays on my strat all the time. I have never had a failure i.e. guitar hitting the floor. I have owned them for several years and they get used a lot.
Big bang for ur buck.

If it cost any more money, I probably would have returned it, but for the price it is OK. The leather is really stiff, so it doesn't flex well while the instrument moves (especially while sitting). The other thing about the leather being stiff is it is actually hard to get on the strap button. If you sre installing a locking system on it, the thin stiff leather is a bonus, but I was putting this on one of my acoustics that has a jack/button so no locking system.

Can't beat the price

Comments about Leather Musician's Friend Logo Strap:

I purchased the Musician's Friend Leather strap to replace the 2" nylon one I had been using. This strap is very comfortable on my shoulder and holds my Bass in place well. The leather is a stiff but I suspect it will soften with more use. Like other reviews have already stated, this strap is short. If you play with your instrument low then this is not the strap for you. I'm 5'8" and like the Bass just above my waist which is exactly where this strap holds it in the longest position. I will be buying at least 2 more in the future.

Comments about Leather Musician's Friend Logo Strap:

Looking for an inexpensive leather strap because of how uncomfortable the nylon ones are, I was drawn to this one. Costing less than many nylon ones and less than half of other leather straps, I figured I'd give it a go. Easy to fit on an acoutic with the button on the bottom of the guitar and a Martin Guitar Strap Button for the top. Good quality, the gold "Musician's friend" on the top of the strap is stamped on the leather and looks better than pictured here. Purchased a second one for my bouzouki and works equally wonderful.

Very nice strap but being 6 feet and 250lbs, I find that they are not long enough to accomodate my size. I am returning mine.

Ask me a question

Comments about Leather Musician's Friend Logo Strap:

I've used nylon straps with plastic buckles for years on my old beaters, but after buying a couple of nice scratch free acoustics, I didn't want dings and scratches and those plastic adjustment buckles on the nylon straps were always slapping up against the back or sides and left a sick feeling in the stomach when it occured. So, I went looking for leather guitar straps. Whoaah! $60 for a Guitar strap! That must have been some cow. Anyway, I headed back to Musicians Friend to see what I could find. For the mere cost and giving MF a tiny bit of advertising, you get a very nice adjustable leather strap that won't scratch up your guitar. I bought two of them. Better than pockets on shirts.

Comments about Leather Musician's Friend Logo Strap:

I just purchased another one. It works well on my Takamine G-Series Acoustic/Electric, but only after I added a post at the base of the neck. The strap would have been too short to reach the headstock (I wouldn't want to do this anyway).

The leather is somewhat thin, but this is good for those who have to clip a wireless transmitter to the strap, then it's a bonus!

The strap does leave a little "leather dust" on my shirt, even after a couple months of straight use, but no staining on white shirts or anything.

Comments about Leather Musician's Friend Logo Strap:

I was skeptical about this strap, but needed a solid strap for my SG with Dunlop straplocks. I just received it in the mail today and am very impressed. A sticker on the back said Perri's Leather Strap. I spent a couple minutes breaking in the leather. It is high quality and I know will only get more supple over time.

Comments about Leather Musician's Friend Logo Strap:

This is a great strap... its durable and it doesn't start to get that gross stuff on the leather like some other straps get, i guess the only downside would be that its only one side of the outer leather..so you get some tiny particles on your shoulder when you play ( no big deal).

Great strap, and on sale too.

Comments about Leather Musician's Friend Logo Strap:

The nylon and buckle straps are like School During Easter- No Class!
Leather is not too thick or thin. Guitar won't fall off, but also can make quick change, unlike thick leather.
This isn't Italian leather, more cowboy, tougher image. Thickness looks right. Easy on shoulders.
On Sale or off, great value. I have a few guitars and one bass. All have these straps.
