OK, really LAME joke BUT this is a GREAT stand for the price! I bought two chrome stands with the stretchy-rubber-clampy-thingy and these are a lot easier to use PLUS they were quite a bit cheaper. Just be sure you adjust the height properly for each guitar first and then lock it in. Then you can lock the clamp either in the open or closed position. It is simple and efficient.I'm gonna buy the automatic stands, probably a couple of 'em, one of these days, but until then, these are just too excellent of a bargain to pass up.Oh yeah, I've bought at least 10 of these. They're that good and that value-priced.

I own several of the Axman tubular guitar stands. My son also has one. I have always thought the quality was pretty good, and the value exceptional until I found that there was a reaction of some sort between the bottom supports of the stand that took the paint off of my son's Gibson SG. He keeps old socks on there to eliminate the problem. Then the most recent stand I ordered was of significantly lower quality than previously ordered stands. The tubes are thinner, and the whole stand is wobblier. Still not a bad stand considering the price, especially on sale at $5.99, but protect the bottom of your guitar, and don't count on a new stand meeting the standards you might hope for in quality.

Before purchasing this stand a month ago, my child played their guitar 3 to 5 times weekly. After receiving this stand I was very impressed with the quality to cost ratio. With the security strap on the neck of the stand (very easily accessable) my child now plays their guitar 2 to 4 times daily. With the hand turnable tention screw for height adjustments, it fits Jr. guitars as well as full size guitars. GREAT BUY FOR BIG OR SMALL!!!!!!
For the price, you can't go wrong here. It's very simple to use and setup, and it does a fine job of holding your gear.
I picked up two of these. They are light and sturdy. They have a soft rubber cover where the guitar makes contact and they are just a great buy.
This awesome stand is a GREAT buy. It holds my Warlock EXTREMELY nice and sturdy and it doesn't mess up or react with the guitar's finish. I have a friend who has basically the same stand (different brand though) and it cost him about 30 bucks, and his falls over at times and it scratched up some of the finish. I highly recommend this stand for everyone, because it is cheap, very reliable, and safe for your axe.
This is an awesome stand that's very affordable. I have bought three so far and am very happy with the way they hold my guitars.
It doesn't really do too much, but it folds up, which is cool. It's easy to use and it's sturdy. It's a good stand, but not amazing.
I ordered this thing to prop up the old work horse. You know battle scared, cracked neck that you'd never part with. Didn't expect much for $$ It was delivered yesterday, after seeing it I ordered 2 more.
I own two of these stands already, only I bought them in stores for triple the price. They are durable, simple and light weight, and affordable for any starting musician.
This stand does not have very many features, but then again it is just a guitar stand! It is well made and attractive as far as stands go. Overall, a nice solid stand that is well worth the money!
for its use it works very well.
