I Gave these an excellent rating because anywhere I go, I CANT find 12 Guage 50 ft cords for [$] each. Sure other cords might have Switchcraft ends or Belden but dang it! I am not going to pay $45 - $60 for a single cable because of the jacks! You get what you pay for sure, but like anything you own, you just be careful with the ends. Don't do stupid things as I have seen where people pull out the cable BY the cable, because they cant reach behind! MOVE THE SPEAKER!! The cable quality on these is very good and the ends for me have not been a problem. I expect to use them for many years. I just tell my other band members to also be careful with them. If you're hard on your cables and wrap them up hastily after a gig, you probably will run into problems. Take your time with these cables and they will last for a long time. I have a 10ft and 2 50 ft cables and will be buying more in the weeks to come. If you're really worried about the ends, then switch them out with whatever you want 1/4", Speakon etc... You cant go wrong with these cables. Try em.

1/4" connectors are low quality with thin walled sleeve and press fit construction. While in use between a power amp and stage monitor, connector was unintentionally cocked in the monitor jack and became intermittent. Upon examination, all internal connections were loose. I am replacing with SwitchCraft connectors. Cable appears to be good quality. Too bad junk connectors have flawed an otherwise good value speaker cable. I will not buy this brand again.

Comments about Musician's Gear 1/4" - 1/4" Speaker Cable 12 Gauge:
heavy guage and they work. because of the thicker gauge, you may have issues if your 1/4" out jacks are close to each other. these are wider/thicker than a standard instrument 1/4" cable/jacks.

Comments about Musician's Gear 1/4" - 1/4" Speaker Cable 12 Gauge:
I read all the other reviews on this product and disagree with the ends being cheap. If you respect all of your equipment or assessories, like unplugging by pulling on the plug it's self and not the cord it will last forever. because of the gauge of this cable the sound quality improved. if money is tight but you need speaker cables buy these you won't be disappointed.

Comments about Musician's Gear 1/4" - 1/4" Speaker Cable 12 Gauge:
The plugs are junk. Thin metal, bend easy, riveted center post. After a while these just spin freely and make poor contact. Good cables if you replace the ends with good Neutrik, Switchcraft or similar.

Used it as soon as I got it. Nice heavy cable with no buzz. Very easy to wind up and store.
Comments about Musician's Gear 1/4" - 1/4" Speaker Cable 12 Gauge:
The cable feels well constructed, works, and even came with a twist tie for easy gig cleanup.
It feels good, and works with my bass amp and cab.
Seems well constructed.
It does its job.
