The display makes this very easy to use. The backlight is very bright. I appreciate the digital "needle" feature in the tuner (my last tuner only had 3 led's that blinked to tell you how close to being in tune you are. The Metronome is very easy to use. A great variety of rhythms and accent beats. The unit has two speakers on the back and a volume control on the side, so I can actually be fairly loud if you need to hear it over your instrument. It is also handy to have the flip out stand on the back of the unit to help with visibility while I play my guitar. The unit that I just received is black, not white like the picture. But it still looks good.
This is a nice little tuner/metronome for the price. Checked it against a friends more expensive (very) tuner and it did good. Metro is ok, at least for acoustic. For loud electric, don't know.
First off, Mine is black with chrome accents(looks great--not cheap at all). I gave the quality a 4 mainly because I have only had it a few weeks. It does everything that is said it does and well. I bought mine for two reasons. Number one was that my Fender PT100(which I have also only had a short time) has been going through nine volt batteries(I only connect it long enough to tune--so don't say I shouldn't leave it plugged in). This little thing uses AA batteries(much cheaper). Reason two was that I always wanted a metronome for practice(aside from the one built into my boss 770). It seems to work as it should. The backlight is great and will light a dark room or you can use it as a flashlight if caught out in the woods with only your tuner(lol). It doesn't hurt that it is small enough and light enough to put in a decent shirt pocket if needed. If it lasts I would give it 5 stars all the way.
