This amp stand is well built and holds my Bugera 120W tube amp nicely. It is stable enough however would not trust pulling to hard on the cables. If you do you are too far anyway! Only thing that would make it better is adjustable angle and maybe further spread in the base to make it a little more stable.

I should of done little more research but I was trying to save a buck
But it will serve it purpose for being at home stand. I would recommend this for on the road.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

As I stated above, by getting the speaker up off of the floor, you prevent floor reflections which give an artificial boom to the mid bass and interfere with the midrange freq. It also allows for easy cleaning and not having to lift the amps when you want to clean up. A great product at a great price.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

I use it with my Fender Super Champ X2 HD amplifier and seems to be perfectly stable. I think it's great for an amp of moderate size that has controls on the front. Perhaps not so great for any amp that has controls at the top, which will angle away from you.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

I bought this stand specifically to use with my Vox VT-40+ that I leave at my band's practice space, and it works perfectly for that. I wouldn't want to use it with my JCM 900 combo for shows because the angle is not adjustable, although I'm confident it is sturdy enough for it (plus I have the more expensive On-Stage stand for that). For the money, it definitely gets the job done!

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

This stand holds the amp at an unsuitable angle for live playing in my opinion.
If your amp controls are on the top, like an AC30, you won't be able to see the knobs. If you have a small-ish Fender or something similar with the knobs on the front it might be OK, except the speaker will be pointed at the balcony.
It's best use might be to hold rack mounted effects or stuff like that. That's my next move with this stand.
It might work OK in the studio where you cant stick a mike in front of it and you don't care where the sound goes after that.
I just bought a Pro Line PL7000 that is much nicer. It is sturdier, which I really like with my big twin. Also the amp sits with the speakers pointed just slightly up, so I can hear the sound coming out of it, and I can see the knobs.
Some people here really like this stand. If we have another yard sale this stand will probably be in it.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

I needed a stand to get my small GK200MB Bass Combo off the floor and with a little tilt playing in our church Praise Team. The old milk crate wasn't very attractive. So far, this stand is working out well. It's probably not sized the best for my particular small combo amp. The lower arms are sized such that the cab's rubber feet sit directly on top of them. I would probably be more comfortable if the feet sat on either side of the arms not allowing the amp to slide too far in either direction. So far, vibration hasn't been enough that it has moved and there isn't much activity around the combo that I have to worry about it getting nudged off.
Also, I have to reverse the arms so the longer arms are on the bottom supporting the weight. If I use it the correct way, the arm is in the way of the power cord and switch. Eventually, I might make a minor mod or two to the stand to better secure the load, but for now it's working out great!
It probably wouldn't work for a smaller cabinet. But I have no doubt that the stand would adequately support a much bigger cabinet. Again, it's working out much better than that milk crate!

The stand is pictured wrong....the longer legs are what the amp "sits" on... the shorter "arms" go in the back...the way its pictured makes it easy to tip over....a fantastic piece for an incredible price!
