I have four of these and used them for years. They get the job done BUT the photo shown on the Musician's Friend web site shows the support arms installed backwards. Installing them to match the photo makes the stand front heavy and unstable if anything but the smallest amp is put on it. The correct, and stable, way to put the arms in is so that the longer arm is on the bottom, not the back (see the attached photo of my stand.) In the Musician's Friend photo, the left arm and right arm need to be switched. I told them about this years ago but they've never corrected the photo.

I should of done little more research but I was trying to save a buck
But it will serve it purpose for being at home stand. I would recommend this for on the road.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

It's a fair amp stand for the money. The eyesore sticker came off relatively easy. It's a bit unstable at it's highest setting with my Super Champ X2. I'd imagine it would be really unstable with a larger amp. I don't think I would gig with it but it's okay for home use. Upon inspection I noticed that the punchouts for the heighth adjustment weren't punched out completely and were still attached inside the arms. You could hear the loose pieces rattleing around inside the tube. I had to take a small screwdriver and wiggle the punchouts that were still attached loose and then remove the end caps so I could dump the little metal circle punchouts in the trash. Some people might not care about this but hearing those little metal bits rattle around everytime I pick the stand up would be annoying. I also got a metal splinter from a sharp edge where it looked like something had nicked one of the uprights. It wasn't a bad cut but should be noted as the quality just doesn't compare to brand names like On-Stage Stands, ProLine or Quik-Lok which of course cost twice as much. If you need a stand for gigging spend the extra money and get something better.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

Holds both my 15 and 35 watt amps very securely although it may be a little light duty for wider amps weighing more than 50 lbs. The brackets that hold the amp measure 12-1/2 inches wide from end to end.

Amp stand seems sturdy enough. I purchased it for a Fender Mustang 1 amp & am very well pleased.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

It's a reasonable stand, with a killer price. There's no angle adjustment and the finish it's not that great, but works well.

Yes, you need to turn the forks in order to adjust its center of gravity, if you use a heavy amp. When you'll do that, you'll lose the 45º angle - and it can be good, because you'll be able to set small heads on that. I put some pictures showing it.

Also, I recommend to put some rubber pads on the forks (check my pictures). The amp will feel safer and the rubber will absorv some vibration noise.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

This stand worked great for my Fishman Loudbox Mini. How you use it will depend on the size of your amp. A heavier amp will put the center of gravity in a different spot. Center of gravity, stability, access of power cords and etc. can be adjusted by which way you install the forks, and how you adjust the height. You'll figure it out. Forks are 1 ½ inch width. From the inside of the left fork to the inside of the right fork is 9 inches. From the outside of the left fork to the outside of the right fork is 12 inches.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand:

I was going to but another 1x12 cab but after I got my Egnater Tweaker off the Floor I found I didn't need one. Having it up and at an angle is a great way to get better tone without buying another cab. This one was just as good as the ones that cost 3 times as much, Extremely sturdy and well worth the money. The bust buy of the bunch IMO
