Good fit for many guitars, Hagstrom HL550, Taylor 914ce, Epiphone DR-500 MCE, Fender Sonoran SCE, Yamaha FG 365 SE. This actually fit an Epiphone Swingster as well,..with plenty of room for the vibrato bar. In this case, as in some of the others above,...the depth of the case may be off a tad,...so that the body of the guitar does not fit flat as desired,...leaving an angle from the guitar body to the neck. What holds the guitar body from fitting flat and creating an angle is the neck rest. I'm going to experiment in lowering the neck rest in my cases. Usually there's a couple of screws holding the neck rest in place and it seems to me you could take those out,...file down the bottom of the neck rest leaving the felt in place on the top,...in order to lower the guitar down so that the guitar body fits flat against the bottom of the case. I recommend of course getting the perfect fit in the first place so that no adjustments are necessary. I have a couple dozen guitars though with some of them not fitting their case perfectly so I think I will try adjusting the neck rest of the case for a better fit rather than buying all new cases. Good luck!

I can recommend this, but only with the caveat that the buyer understands what he or she is getting for the price. In this and previous tweed case I ordered from MF, the latches don't line up properly, tweed fabric has scuff marks and glue stains. The second case was even worse than the first and had numerous splits/gaps in the interior plush fabric. Reading other reviews, I didn't expect two bad cases in a row. Between insurance & shipping, not worth returning as there's no guarantee a replacement will be any better than what I have. Fits dreadnoughts but not auditorium/jumbo (which most old archtops are.) Upper bout can be no wider than 12.5", lower no wider than 16" (and those are snug.) Buyer beware.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Dreadnought Case:

This is a great case for the money. The gold latches mateched perfecly with the gold locking tuners on my Ibanez AEG 20E Vintage Violin acoustic guitar. Unless you're a pro that needs real heavy protection, this case will satisfy your needs and you can't beat he price. If you have to have a name brand then you'll pay a lot more.

Purchased to house my Martin dreadnought kit guitar I built, the case is very sturdy and impressive for the money. As nice as the case that came with my Martin GPCPA4, and had one more clasp than that one. Definitely recommend.

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Dreadnought Case:

Perfect inexpensive protection for any guitar. I have bought several of these over the years and they are a must for any guitar you care about. Great inexpensive way to increase the value of a guitar you are trying to sell. You can easily get 100 to 150 more if in a hard shell case. Especially a new case. Makes an older guitar seem fresh... Bottom line, it's just hard to beat this price. GREAT VALUE....

This is a beautiful, classy looking instrument case. I love the quality stitching and the well made gold colored buckles. The buckles even feel more sturdy than other cases I've bought, as does the internal storage compartment as well. I'm very happy with the quality!

Comments about Musician's Gear Deluxe Dreadnought Case:

Bought this for a 12 string guitar with a long headstock.
it fits perfectly with room to spare. This is my second purchase of one. I only buy when on sale...bargain time.
Thanks Muscians Friend. BTW, mine isn't tweed but black. Years ago I bought the tweed one and I still have it. Cool looking but shows scuff marks more than the black.

This case appears sturdy and well built for the price point. I needed a case for a 1973 Takamine F385 12 string I recently resurrected and this case fits the dreadnought like a glove.....
