Take a good look at the picture, that's what you get. It works great with my guitar. The padding isn't crazy thick, but it totally does the job. The pouch in the front has a messenger bag-type flap (with the typical clip) that covers the many different pockets. No, the pockets don't have zippers as noted in other reviews; they do have velcro though. But, again, it does get the job done. As long as you don't turn your guitar upside down in the bag and shake it, you won't lose things. I can fit several sets of strings, 3 sets of 10'+ cables, and various picks and cable ties all in those pockets without even coming close to filling the space under the flap. Take it from a guy who's still learning new stuff about the music biz every day; it's a great buy for the price and you'll be pleased.

Can you say "CHEESE BALL"? This thing is a joke, and a bad one at that. The padding is almost nonexistent, the material feels as if a toothpick (or mosquito) could penetrate it, the pockets don't close tightly, the fit for most rigs is too tight, and the zipper inspires as much confidence as a wet paper sack. This is a step up (but only a baby step up) from one of those vinyl-only bags that resemble hanger-bags for clothing. If you're desperate for a gig bag, and this one is on sale for $5.00, go for it. Otherwise, avoid like the plague.SIDEBAR: Oh, if they would only bring back the "Musician's Gear Elite Series Electric Guitar Gig Bag" recently discontinued... again, and for what -- the 20th time? This time, it might be for good, dang it. And THIS is the bag that is to take its place in the lineup? Fat chance.

This gig bag is a very good value and you won't be dissapointed. I chose it because of the nice sized storage pockets and the price and I am very pleased with it. It has all the padding that you need for a gig bag. I just use it to travel and I carry it myself. If I were a performing musician and other people were handling my equipment, I would use a hard shell anyway.

Decent bag, but a little bit overpriced. I preferred the old (discontinued) Musician's Gear bag for quality and protection. I can't remember the name of it, but you could get it in tweed. I do like the larger pouch on this one, and it can hold my Les Paul with Floyd Rose without my having to remove the trem bar.

Here is a decently constructed guitar bag that will protect your axe against minor bumps and scrapes. Of course if you decide to drop it off the roof of a tall building it will not keep your guitar safe. It's a guitar "BAG" not a flight case, but for the price it's a good, inexpensive way to help protect your guitar.

I own an Ibanez RG350MYE & this bag fits it just fine,even with the guitar's longer headstock. The pockets are roomy, the straps are beefy, the exterior is durable & the interior is plush. A good deal!

First, it has RED "MUSICIANS GEAR" LOGO JUST ABOVE THE MESH POCKET! They should update the pic.Well, pockets are okay for the price, but the padding is way too thin. It will protect your guitar from scratch(even paper bags can do it), but not dent. Especially the bottom part is really thin so you have to put your guitar down GENTLY not to crack the wood near end strap pin.
