I bought this case a couple of years ago from Musicians Friend with promp delivery. The case holds my Fender P bass safe and securely. Very light and easy to transport in my compact car. I have not used the shoulder strap but the handles are secure and carry the case safely. The only problem I have had is about the 3rd time I used the case one of the zipper closures broke. However there are 2 zipper closures on the case one on each side so now I have to be very careful zipping the case open and closed.Other than that problem the case great.
I just got this bass case and it is much more sturdy then I imagined it to be. It's very protective. There is a lot of pocket room for my cable, tuner, etc. My Ibanez SR405 fits perfectly in it and my smaller bass, the washburn lion has room to spare. This bass case is pretty light but when loaded up it can still feel pretty heavy after a while, there is a strap but it's very uncomftorable, I had to replace it with a more padded one right away. I would say overall this case is a great value and conveniant since it is much lighter then wooden cases. By the way, the case looks much nicer in person then in the picture were it looks pretty bad.
I bought this case because of the price and the reviews. I do feel this is a good case for the price as the Gators are much more. However, I thought it would have a softer type of foam under the plush liner. The one that it has is more of a preformed, hard plastic, generic molded type. Still this case is very light and that is a plus. Just not what I thought it would be.
A very nice, lightweight case! Great for transporting guitars to rehearsals, short-range gigs where you have it in your posession most of the time. Wouldn't trust to road-crew!Overall great value.
I purchased my first case for a bass that I won off Ebay that came with a cheapo gigbag, and I have since purchased another to replace my SKB case. Excellent protection and light as a feather, not to mention the very attractive price. What more could you ask for in a case?
I wanted a case that would be light but durable. And this fit's the bill I was worried that my bass wouldn't fit or it would move around inside but it holds it snug. You can't go wrong with it.
I purchased this case for my Dean 6 string fretless. I made the stupid mistake of not looking at the dimensions of the case before I purchased. It is very short and will not fit a large bass at all. Made for short scale basses and guitars. Even though it won't fit, it's a great idea and an awesome case...I'm going to keep it. Gives me an excuse to buy a bass to fit it.
Zipper not as smooth as I would wish, but still a good case. Good case for the money.
The case itself is great. The strap, however, is another story. I used it once and it broke. Still, I've had my case going on five years now and I wouldn't trade it for a hardshell.
It's very useful and not such a hassel to take around.
