I ordered this case for my Ephiphone MM50 f-style mandolin. I had read one review from someone that said they didn't think this case would fit an f-style.....boy they were wrong, it fits it perfectly, and I don't think you could get a better case paying 3 or 4 times as much....Thank you Musicians Friend for helping us in a struggling economy.

This works OK but not great. I bought it to have a place to quickly put my Eastman 515 when I left my seat at a session. Unless the strap is removed and set aside, the case is very tight and even then I have to force the snaps closed. I fear it might strain the top and neck. As a result, the Eastman's original zipper case turns out to be the faster solution and, ironically, I would use that for the Weber Fern too.

Bought this for an F style Morgan Monroe. Mandolin fits snug with minimal gaps around edges. Good latches and carrying handle. Sturdy, but light-weight. Good "budget" case.

I bought another one. With 8 mandolins there are two that I like more than the others and I want them to be protected.
I am very happy with Musicians Friend, their products and there support. GOOD JOB!!!!!!

Comments about Musician's Gear Economy Mandolin Case for A and F Mandolins:

I got this for The Loar LM-520-VS and it fits great. The plastic seems like it will stand up to some major abuse. I feel like I could (but won't) step on it and probably wouldn't hurt the case or its contents. I am happy with the price and the quality. It reminds me of the old SKB Taylor Guitar cases.

I do have a few minor complaints. It's ugly plastic. I knew this before getting it, but just realize it's just black plastic. It also doesn't seem like it is as air tight as my Taylor case. I live in the dry southwest and low humidity is a problem. That means keeping the humidity in the case will be more of a problem. I didn't have high hopes to begin with, so take that for what it's worth. The biggest annoyance is the inability to carry music. Even in a hard shell guitar case you can put a few sheets under the guitar. You obviously can't with a mandolin. Im not sure what a sleeve would be like on this case. The storage in the case is fairly limited as well. It holds a tuner and a cheap strap and that is about it.

Again, these are minor complaints. I'm happy with the case and I would get it again, especially looking at the alternatives.

This is an excellent case for the price. I have a Michael Kelly Legacy Elegante F-style mandolin and it fits perfect. It is very durable and has more room for storage than other cases I've had. Great Deal!!

Comments about Musician's Gear Economy Mandolin Case for A and F Mandolins:

I bought this case to protect my G-Pas mando that I inherited. 1925 A-Model Gibson. It fits perfectly!
Room in the case for extra picks, strings, tuner,
and a handy place to store the strap, right where the scroll on an F-Model would fit. It was delivered right on time as stated by MF. Another great experience for me.
                    And the price was right.
