Great case, very well put together. I've never owned another case that I could put my guitars in, throw it around, stack it on top of stuff, under stuff, whatever, and KNOW that my guitar was safe inside. This is it! Its a little tight for my Mosrite but thats not necessarily a bad thing: the foam hugs it nice and tight and the guitar DOES NOT MOVE. Besides, its the only case I could find to fit it(besides an expensive overpriced Mosrite replica case.) I took one of my cheaper guitars on a tour to Southeast Asia in one of those standard cases and while the guitar was *ok*, I could tell that it moved around a lot more than I'd wanted it to during the flight. Taking my expensive Mosrite overseas, I had to have some added protection, actually, the best. I took a chance with this case and I was blown away! For the money, its the best case out there. Yes, a bit heavy, but who's gonna complain when it comes to protecting your most prized posessions? I would've given the Features rating a 10 because I like the heavy duty latches, but because there are no locks, I'm only giving it an 8. (Of course, you can't really lock it up with airport security anyway...) Great case, strong, durable, and it will take a beating so your baby doesn't have to, your axe will be safe inside. Buy this case, you know you want one!

This case is very neat. With that being said, it's not a good case. It's metal, yes, and the inside is nice, but the design is horrible. When you lift it by the handle, the case begins to open up, if you've had a crappy hardshell case, you know what I mean. I am trying to send mine back, I don't like it much.. It looks like if you picked it up too many times, the handle would snap off, or the case would open and your guitar would fall out.

I purchased one of these flight cases and I goota tell ya... I am very pleased with it ! fits my Strat to a tee... It is one of the best guitar case I've purchased, I highly recommend this case. For the money and prestige, it certainly is a great valve ! I will buy more of these cases in the future.
for the money, this case is hard to beat...i own 2 of them...i have 2 teles, 2 strats and a paul reed smith, and all of them fit just fine...purchased from this website for much less they're charging at this time...for those of you barking about not the quality of the ata flight cases, it's not priced like one either...it's perfect for local gigs and it looks cool too...i've had both mine for nearly 3 years regularly gigged and both are still in great condition...handles and latches too... bang for buck, it's about as good as you can do....been playing in bars for 40 years and this case is highly reccomended for all you local talent out there...i'd take it on the road too.
I bought one of these for my first guitar and was so pleased with the fit that I bought one for my son. Contrary to other reviews, my Epiphone Les Paul Custom fits very well. It has not been on a plane so can't say how it would hold up since it has no head support but for just going here and there it works great. Even had compliments from the guys at the pro shop when I had the Les Paul in for a setup.
I have a low-end Washburn Lyon that doesnt match the dimensions for the Strat or the Les Paul cases. I was nervous that I'd either be prying my guitar into a smaller case or letting it slide around in a bigger one. This case is juuuuust right. It and my guitar withstood multiple flights overseas, including all the baggage handlers and baggage claims. The internal lining and compartments were great. There may be some wiggle room for other types of guitars, but Id say add a towel for padding. For the money, this thing is great.
I use this case for my Schecter C-1 Diamond Series. I traveled with it from California to Connecticut and back with 1 layover/plane change each way on Southwest. The case held up flawlessly with little wear and tear. The only thing I would change is that the handle is a bit flimsy feeling. Overall though, this is a great value when it goes on sale.
OK it is not Anvil but it will do a pretty good job protecting the instrument. I bought a lefty Scechter diamond series 'blackjack' and had not been able to find but one hard case....well this baby is perfect with plenty of room for other stuff. I even pack clothes and misc stuff for traveling overseas. Fits great. Hey it cost me 49.95 deal of the day price. Not bad at all. So for me it works..yeah it's not super heavy duty but it is prety good......besides I don't go out with expensive guitars anyway.....geez it's a guitar! MIM Stat works as good as American Strat..only you hear and know the difference! Good case!
For the price you cant beat it. I needed a case for my gibson sg, and it barely fits but it works very well for what it is. I did try putting my epi les paul in it and it did not work, whatever, just check your dimensions before buying it, dont be stupid. There is no lock on it, so i'm a little sad but whatever, I paid almost nothing for it and got solid metal protection for my gibson, heck yes!
This case does NOT fit a gibson (or Epiphone)les paul. The tilt of the headstock keeps the neck from lying flat. If you are not on a world tour this case is as good if not better than others in the same price range. It is plastic with aluminum egdes, but it is sturdy enough and much better than the wooden tolex covered cases. It is heavy though. And the handle.. not its best feature. Ive had it for a year and between practices and local bars it is awesome. My Parker and Schecters fit great. I would replace it if needed. But for really expensive guitars on a serious trip.. get a better quality case.
DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT buy this case if you own a les paul. I found out that every time I lay my guitar down in the case, it bows the neck. Les Paul buyers, get a case made for a Les Paul. I'm sending mine back. btw, this thing is made with the flimsiest, cheapest metal and the walls of the case are just rubber with some crappy particle board inside. Get an ATA case if you want a good flight case. Trust me
It is a very sturdy (and very nice!) case with a very flimsy handle. Two flights with a standard strat and the handle is already coming off.
