I have four of these that I have purchased over the past 4-5 years. They are well made and have just enough padding. Keep in mind they are not hard-shell protection. But they keep the dust off and protect your instruments from minor dings - and look really nice.
Besides being slightly pricy, the bag is awesome! It has many compartments which can carry your picks, tuner, capo etc. It also has thick padding protecting my yamaha apx700 when i'm taking it along with me. It's not the most attractive bag, but at least it has a variety of colors. Great bag for protection, not so great for style. haha :)
I have had my acoustic elite bag for several months. I get numerous positive comments about the tweed color. Snug fit for my Guild GAD25 but better than loose fitting. Heavy padding. Ordering another for my Yamaha FG750S (green this time). My Taylor 214e fits in very well. Zipper opening further on the bottom would aid access but can't have everything maybe.
I got this Musicians Gear Elite Series Acoustic Guitar Bag to hold my Epiphone DR-100. It is sturdy and well put together. It is also light weight but protects the guitar very well. Overall this is a great guitar bag for a great price.
It's a gig bag, not a case! Now keep that in mind. I have purchased two, and I will be buying a third. Why? It is well padded. It is well made. It does travel well. Great for a six string accoustic, and I can get my 12 string accoustic in it although a snug fit. No danger to the finish of your gear. Available in different colors for different guitars (suggestion). Options available for carrying. It's not a hardshell case, but it is every bit as good a product that you can get for the price and protection.
I have one in every color! I was delighted to find these bags at MF years ago after shopping around quite a bit. (I am a very thorough shopper.) I carry my guitars around to classes and the hard-shell cases were ruining my shoulders so I needed a lighter-weight alternative. These cases are so sturdy and convenient, with the handle, straps and multiple zippered pockets. I haven't had a problem with fit or damage and they get a lot of use (if not abuse). I've gotten them for 5 of my guitars and am now looking for one for my new twelve-string--hope they have one that fits.
Really not much to complain about. Well padded bag that does the job and is priced reasonably. Bonus is that you are not stuck with black as your only color choice. Nice to have some options in life. Bought for an old Ovation Balladeer and it fits great.
Cant beat this bag for the money IMHO. Got it as the deal of the day for $20.94 shipped to my door. Very well made and it doesn't look cheap. Fits my Epiphone DR500M perfectly.
Purchased the case with the Luna Flora Lotus guitar. Lots of storage space and fits the guitar perfectly. Well padded, for a neck support I used the one that came with the guitar. Great case for the money.
I own two of these gig bags and have bought three others as gifts for friends! They're great, and simply unbelievable for the price. I like the carry options: removable shoulder straps, side handle, and vertical hanging hook. The multiple music and accessory pockets are great too. Nicely padded inside, and fit every guitar I've tried in it perfectly (5-6 acoustics and two classicals). If you're on a budget, this is the bag for you! Get one; you won't be sorry.
