I like these cables a lot. I'm not a cable snob, so I can't tell you how they will color your sound. All of mine have worked flawlessly, with the exception of one jack needing a wiggle now and then. I totally do not believe all the shills who are coming in and saying these cables break or are inoperable. Buy a better cable if you want to experiment with how a cable's construction can alter the sound of your rig. Buy these cables if you keep running short of instrument cable, and you need a few more around to see that everything gets hooked in.
I'm not a cable snob, so I can't tell you how they will color your sound. I can tell you they are well built, and the jacks and cable being used is of good quality. I actually like the yellow boots that are shrunk onto the jacks. Keeps them from coming unscrewed like so many budget cables.
It's a good deal to get several of these if you just keep running out of instrument cable. This is a constant infirmity for me.

These cables LOOK and FEEL like decent-quality stuff, but the first I tried out of the package began cutting-out when I moved after about five minutes of playing. The second was bad, as-in no signal gets through the brand-new cable, right out of the package. The third lasted a couple days, with me being careful to avoid moving it as much as possible, and the fourth was bad right out of the package, cutting-out whenever flexed at a certain part of the cable. I expected these to be cheap, but they were actually worse; more like worthless.

I got a 4 pack a while back for spares and finally had to use one, at a practice, I went through all four because they are just too noisy in a high gain situation. So of course I had to later do a one on one comparison against a known good quality Fender cable. There is a huge difference in clarity as well as noise all in favor of the 15+ year old multiple times repaired Fender cable. Don't even consider these for gig or studio work. I will only be using these for self practice to save my good cables. And that is all I recommend these for. Especially if you crank the gain for any of your songs!!!!

I purchased a few of these sets. The first set did ok but the next two sets that I purchased did not even last thru a show. I have not pulled them apart yet to see if it is just the solder or what. I would spend a little more money and go with better quality.
