        Thought there was something wrong with my new black & silver tele. Turns out it was only this new matching cable. Straight from packaging the sound goes on-off-on and is scratchy when on.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        Guitar cable

        Comments about Musician's Gear Instrument Cable:

        Needed a backup cable for connecting to equipment on a bigger stage so purchased this one. This is a slightly smaller diameter then my Fender cable. The chrome screw ends were not tight when I received the product. Black shrink tubing extends over the wire connects and out one inch past the plug. I would rate this more of a light duty cable and should work fine for the few times that I need a longer chord. Hard to go too wrong for the price.
