Worth a try.
I wanted to replace old cables that go from my Mackie mixer to my power amp so these 6' mic cables were just the thing. I don't use a rackmounted system so my board and power amp are plugged in for each gig. So far these have worked first time every time since I got them about a month ago. I gig most weekends and often through the week too.
Worth a try.
You can spend much more but if you are careful with your cables these should work fine especially for stationary applications like I'm doing. If you need a mic cable for a hand-held mic that will be dragged around the stage night after night, you may find that you need to spend more for a more durable cable.

These cables arent awful for the money. When your paying this much for them, you really cant expect much. They work if in a stationary application, sound quality is average at best. The female connector does not stay in the mic. What I mean is, its not a firm connection at all. When I used these, I would go back and listen to vocals tracks, and would find that the cable came loose/cut out in the middle of the song, and there would just be hisses/popping noise, and that was when the cable wasnt moving. It's your call, but remember, you get what you pay for.

bought this around a month ago. finally got around to using it and it broke the first time I used it. one of the metal prongs on the female end pulled out for no apparent reason. do not buy.

These are very cheaply made. I had issues with 2 of them right out of the box, and with 6 more of them within 3 months. They were being used nightly in an install. They are on sale right now but were more expensive when purchased. I would expect decent quality for that price. I will pay the extra for monster standard cables next time. I treat my cables right, but expect them to do the same for me!

I bought two of these as backup cables and used one for the first time while DJing a party on New Year's Eve. The connection would not seat properly and my mic kept cutting out while using this product. I switched to another mic cable and the problem ceased. I threw this cable in the trash as I left the ballroom. I wouldn't recommend this particular product.

The female connectors on these cables connect too loosely to the microphones I use, causing intermittent contact. I have replaced these connectors with a better quality connector (VTG H3FC XLR) and now have no more problems. Otherwise the price is right.

If you are looking for mic cables to get you by for practicing, then these are for you. I wouldn't suggest plugging and unplugging them a whole lot. I've had mine for 4 years now and I've noticed that the sound quality just isn't there. I use mine for my drum mics to record with and after mixing down, my drums get lost in the mix. So, these are good to practice with, but don't expect to be blown away by the quality of sound.
