Sent 1st one back, covered in mold. 2nd one still looked like they swept the floor with it. Cleaned it up the way the sender should have. I don't have the time to keep sending NEW merchandise back and forth. Consider the price and the old saying, "you get what you pay for". Dust included, no extra charge.
Good enough for a cheap mandolin
cheap gig bag, what do you expect from it really?

Comments about Musician's Gear Mandolin Gig bag:

I love this gig bag. I saw some negative reviews and as usual I did not believe them. I bought this gig bag to carry my Rogue A body mandolin. This is a perfect combination for folks that go to festivals and jam sessions. you have a built in pouch t carry strings, picks and a tuner and other little things you may need for your mandolin. I leave my strap on my mandolin so I am ready to jam at any time. There is a shoulder strap built into this gig bag. If you have ever been to a bluegrass festival, you know how handy that comes in. Much better than leaving your mandolin out in the open. The shoulder strap is handy while crusing the festival grounds while carrying a drink. leaving you hands free when not pickin is a good thing and your mandolin is safe. Mine delivered in clean condition and looks great.

This is a little better than most unpadded gig bags, wish the pocket was big enough for music books

Comments about Musician's Gear Mandolin Gig bag:

Nicely made with extra thick padding, no longer do I worry about those unavoidable bumps. An extra is the bag is a little larger than my mandolin making it much easier to stow, I will most likely get another for my second mandolin.

Comments about Musician's Gear Mandolin Gig bag:

Been playing guitar for 44 yrs, I fool around with banjo, round neck and square neck resonator guitars, fiddle, lap steel and keys and now mandolin. Have had all type of cases and soft bags for the instruments stated. Not sure I would gig with this bag, but it does OK for protecting the manolin around the house and for throwing it over my shoulder when going to the neighbors and friends for a jam. I'm satisfied with it....

Comments about Musician's Gear Mandolin Gig bag:

This bag is about as good as you will find if you want something other than a hard case. The zipper is good, and it is well padded, with carry straps and a generous outside pocket. It is on the roomy side, so your mandolin won't be a tight or secure fit, but it seems to protect the instrument as well as any soft case that I have used. I got mine as part of a package deal. I would be reluctant to pay full price for it, but if you can find it on sale, it's a good deal. I also have a hard shell case, but this is handy for travel.

Comments about Musician's Gear Mandolin Gig bag:

I bought this case just so I wouldn't beat-up my mandolin. The shoulder strap is very helpful. It probably won't stand up to high impact. It snugs up to the mandolin but stretches to allow for a book or whatever. Side pocket is handy.

Comments about Musician's Gear Mandolin Gig bag:

Recently bought an entry level mandolin which did not come with a case. After carrying it around in the card board shipping box for awhile, I finally brought down and deciding to by a gig bag for it.

Found this one on sale for a great price. Fits my A-style mandolin just fine and provides decent protection considering that it is a soft-sided gig bag. The main bag is large enough to slide a lesson book in with the mandolin. Side pouch is great for a tuner, strings, metronome, etc. The zipper has got caught once on the inner lining. Thankfully, it didn't tear the lining, I will need to be a little more careful when opening/closing it. While I certainly wouldn't use it for a $5000 Gibson, it works great for my needs.

Comments about Musician's Gear Mandolin Gig bag:

Have had a hard shell cases, but decided to give this gig bag a try. Easy to slip instrument (A style) in and out of the bag. Big zipper is easy to zip. Like most say it has better than good protection, but not excellent. Tough outer fabric, should repel dirt / water well. Arrived in excellent condition.

Overall - well please, highly recommned this bag, excellent priced.
