These cases are worth far more than what they cost. A few things that I dig about these cases (I own three)

- The neck channel that the neck sits in is veru well-designed
- The integrated Velcro strap to secure the neck into place
- Handles tilt-back headstocks which all three of my ESPs have - a surprising number of cases do not, and it results in the tip of the headstock touching down on the bottom of the case which begs for neck warping
- Accommodates my 27" scale ESP/LTD baritones
- Sturdy as heck but lightweight
- Simple to remove inserts and replace with foam (I am doing that to one to accommodate my LP-type ESP Eclipse
- Good latches
- Nice overall design

It does not fit LP-style guitars (Les Paul, ESP Eclipse, etc) - as expected. SuperStrat cases never fit them as the guitar and neck joint are vastly differently shaped.

It's not worth the extra cash to shell out for a manufacturer's logo molded case, unless it's a true ATA case, like a Jackson case is. This case is worth every penny it costs.

The lack of a storage compartment is not a big deal at all. I don't need to store anything besides my guitar in a guitar case. No tremolo arm, etc.

I give these cases 5 stars. I plan to pick up another couple when they're back in stock.

I had ordered the LP-specific one and was sent this instead. The MF representative seemed surprised that this case didn't work. It doesn't fit a Les Paul style guitar at all. There's way too much room for the body and the head digs into the front. Be very careful when getting a case and make sure they send you the right one and that they don't try to convince you that "one size fits all" because it doesn't.

Comments about Musician's Gear MGMEG Molded ABS Electric Guitar Case:

Quality should measured by the expectation of the buyer. No one should think that this case will handle the rigors of the road that, say, Richie Kotzen would put on his well-traveled Telecasters. However, if you are a local gigging weekend warrior, this case will provide adequate protection for a long time at a very good price. It's nearly as sturdy as an SKB case. If you buy it at regular price it costs half of the SKB price. On sale, it's less than that. I have no issue with how snug the fit of these cases are with my strat or tele. They fit, they don't move around and the plastic sides are fairly firm and thick. This is not the usual Musician's Gear crapola. I would NOT recommend their tweed style cases, but these are close to an SKB. And that's pretty good company.

Comments about Musician's Gear MGMEG Molded ABS Electric Guitar Case:

This is a great case for the price. I have similar Gator and RoadRunner cases, and the quality is almost as nice - but it is fantastic for being almost half the price! This thing is WAY better than similar priced gig bags. My Strat knock-off fits perfectly and securely. Plush interior is great.

Comments about Musician's Gear MGMEG Molded ABS Electric Guitar Case:

I purchased this for an older model Peavey Predator Plus Strat style guitar. Perfect fit. I tried my Strat, Tele, and PRS all perfect fit. I own SKB, Gator, and, Epiphone cases and, this one compares very well with all of them. Very satisfied with this case. MF had an acc. promo that made the price on this case even a sweeter deal! Thanks!

This guitar case will fit a strat style guitar lake a glove. It's latches are of good quality and it has a velco strap to hold the neck in place. For the $$ with free shipping- you can't go wrong.

Comments about Musician's Gear MGMEG Molded ABS Electric Guitar Case:

OK, this has got to be one of the most inexpensive ABS cases out there. I bought one to use as a daily case and save my more expensive Fender Artist Tweed case from abuse.

This case is great. Yes the latches require you to properly line up the mechanism properly but this is no difference from the 80's Fender American Standard Cases or the ones I have seen on the Nash Guitar Cases here recently.

Highly recommended unless you are a touring musician. For the average Joe, this case will do the job and then some.

This is a very close clone of a SKB case for less! Love the extra protection with a neck tie down. However...I have to wait until July (it's now April) for stock to arrive. I hope they have enough! I need five more of these!

Comments about Musician's Gear MGMEG Molded ABS Electric Guitar Case:

I ordered this for a 34 year old Peavey T15. It is a great fit, I suspect it will fit any of the T series guitars with no issues. It has a nice padded velcro strap near the body cavity to secure the neck. The case has three latches (one of them is locking). This case is great for storing a guitar at home or local travel in an automobile. I would recommend going with something of a more heavy duty nature if you intend to fly or if you plan to transport your guitar in a cargo truck with lots of big heavy items. This case is well built, but I question if it would withstand a direct hit by an Anvil Case carrying a fully loaded amp rack. The case did have some of that aromatic funk smell. I squirted some Febreeze on the upholstery and let it air dry, problem solved. I'm happy, my guitar is happy.

Bought this for a Telecaster and it fits great. Haven't had any issues with the lining or the locks. At first I wished there were lids for the accessory compartments, but I keep all kinds of loose stuff in there (cable, picks, tuner, etc.) and every time I open it everything is right where I left it. You could spend a lot more on a case and probably get one that's not any better than this.
