These cases are worth far more than what they cost. A few things that I dig about these cases (I own three)

    - The neck channel that the neck sits in is veru well-designed
    - The integrated Velcro strap to secure the neck into place
    - Handles tilt-back headstocks which all three of my ESPs have - a surprising number of cases do not, and it results in the tip of the headstock touching down on the bottom of the case which begs for neck warping
    - Accommodates my 27" scale ESP/LTD baritones
    - Sturdy as heck but lightweight
    - Simple to remove inserts and replace with foam (I am doing that to one to accommodate my LP-type ESP Eclipse
    - Good latches
    - Nice overall design

It does not fit LP-style guitars (Les Paul, ESP Eclipse, etc) - as expected. SuperStrat cases never fit them as the guitar and neck joint are vastly differently shaped.

It's not worth the extra cash to shell out for a manufacturer's logo molded case, unless it's a true ATA case, like a Jackson case is. This case is worth every penny it costs.

The lack of a storage compartment is not a big deal at all. I don't need to store anything besides my guitar in a guitar case. No tremolo arm, etc.

I give these cases 5 stars. I plan to pick up another couple when they're back in stock.

I had ordered the LP-specific one and was sent this instead. The MF representative seemed surprised that this case didn't work. It doesn't fit a Les Paul style guitar at all. There's way too much room for the body and the head digs into the front. Be very careful when getting a case and make sure they send you the right one and that they don't try to convince you that "one size fits all" because it doesn't.

Comments about Musician's Gear MGMEG Molded ABS Electric Guitar Case:

Let's Not get Too Jiggy about an inexpensive case. You get what you pay for, This! Has trouble staying open, factory chemical markings on the side. Very lightweight, presumably from cheaper quality construction. Replacing bottom of the line SKB case that After 15 years of a better but also a lower grade ABS plastic started to crack and crumble. Doubt this one will last that long. Under current financial situation Would buy it again. Ya gotta have a case...

Pretty well made case for safe storage, & light to medium duty gigging. Seems to accommodate several "bolt-on" neck body styles.

Bought 2 of these cases when they came back into stock.1-for my new Fender satin telecaster and the other for my Ibanez RG420EG. As others have stated, These cases are the BEST bang for the buck!! Solid construction, Well designed, No smell, Holds guitar neck in place with a strap, No worries about damaging your favorite axe!! Both are perfect for what I needed them for. That's the reason why they can't keep them in stock. You can pay more ,But you won't get better. Save some money and buy one of these, They don't disappoint!!!

These are great cases, similar in outside design to some SKB cases I have. I have struggled to find a case that would fit my Vox SDC guitars, and these fit them like a glove. No kidding, it's like it was made for the double cutaway Vox guitars. If you bought one of the Vox SDC 22 or SDC 33 guitars when they were put on clearance last year, GET THIS CASE!

Quality should measured by the expectation of the buyer. No one should think that this case will handle the rigors of the road that, say, Richie Kotzen would put on his well-traveled Telecasters. However, if you are a local gigging weekend warrior, this case will provide adequate protection for a long time at a very good price. It's nearly as sturdy as an SKB case. If you buy it at regular price it costs half of the SKB price. On sale, it's less than that. I have no issue with how snug the fit of these cases are with my strat or tele. They fit, they don't move around and the plastic sides are fairly firm and thick. This is not the usual Musician's Gear crapola. I would NOT recommend their tweed style cases, but these are close to an SKB. And that's pretty good company.
