    So.. another tough one..

Overall, I think it's a flawed product with limited utility. This isn't because of any real flaws in the product.. but rather because the things it's going to couple aren't up to the same standards.
I have to rate it down because the average user will probably have issues with these.

Now.. here's the other side to this...

I don't have a pedal board. I really need to make one though so that may change some day.
IF I HAD A PEDAL BOARD I might be inclined to loosen the retaining nuts on my pedal jacks. With the off-set design, you could fasten down your pedals so they don't move on your board and you'd then just need a bit of play in the pedal jacks to get them to play nice with the coupler. Alternately, I've considered drilling or grinding out the jack holes in the pedal cases to give them some play.
There is a big downside to this of course.. it's very possible you've got one or all of your 1/4" jacks soldered to the effect PCB so there may be little to no play in them. And, of course, life can be busy.. I have about 50 things better to do at any given time (I really should be working now ;-) but everyone needs a break now and again).

Bottom line.. If you're willing to fight with your effects to make these work and you think you can.. I'd recommend them over patch cables. They'll last forever.
If you can't/won't.. don't buy them. There's a good chance you'll be dissapointed.
I'm writing another review. I purchased some of these a couple/few years back and rated them pretty high.. but my opinion of their usefulness has gone down since.

It's hard to rate "features" on something as simple as this. The only feature is.. two 1/4" plugs.

From a usefulness PoV I've got to rank them as pretty mediocre.
It's a great idea. I rugged, solid way to connect your pedals. The design seems well thought out, with the ability to line up pedals that have different height connectors. Of course, you have no control over the spacing of the pedals but the width of the body gives you enough space between pedals unless Clown shoes are part of your stage persona.

Here's the problem.. Even brand name, quality pedals, don't have the quality control to effectively use this in many cases. The off-set design allow you to twist it to mate up jacks of different heights.. or to adjust adjacent pedals front to back from each other.
However.. this all assumes the jacks are actually in plane to the BOTTOM of the pedal.

Funny thing.. vendors care about making a pretty hefty slug of metal so stomp boxes don't break. A nice solid pedal makes us think it's quality too.
They don't care about engineering the box so the jacks are perfectly horizontal to the plane of the floor.
When the jacks aren't in the right plane.. say the slope up or down a bit as they go into the pedal body.. then the coupler doesn't allow the adjacent pedals to sit flat. The jack is, to their credit, dead straight. If the pedal jacks aren't, you have a problem.
    The quality is actually excellent.
It's as solid as a block of steel. It's gold plated. The finish is excellent and uniform. It's dead straight.. that is although the plugs are off-set, they're parallel to each other.

Of course, that's the problem. It's too good to cope with the flaws in most effects pedals. I really wish I could just use these.. but I'm ordering three 6" patch cables today instead. :-(
This is tough. Considering the cost of small patch cables and the build quality of the coupler.. I think it's a steal.
Unfortunately, as I've harped on.. it doesn't always work well.

I'll give it a 10 for cost versus quality.
I couldn't if I judge value on actual utility so take this with a grain of salt.

If you think you can work around the problems with alignment.. buy these.

Comments about Musician's Gear Offset Effect Pedal Coupler:

This is very good product. But there are places where it won't work well. If the height (off a flat surface) of your pedal jack is more than 1/4 inch different than its neighbor's jack height, everything will be crooked. Both pedals will tilt. And if you are tempted to leave everything plugged together and your pedal is powered by a battery, a coupler plugged into the "In" jack will most likely drain the battery even though the system is in "Bypass".

Having said all that, I still like this item very much. It helps to hold everything together, and they are fun to experiment with. Highly recommended!

Comments about Musician's Gear Offset Effect Pedal Coupler:

These are nice couplers for ganging effect pedals together. The quality is decent, and they serve their purpose. I bought a couple of them because years ago I used some that were similar and they worked well. You don't have to worry about having your pedal interface wiring shorting out with these.
However, it's very important to make certain that you have them set correctly when you have them between your pedals. The offset of the plugs makes it easy for one of the pedals to be slightly raised. You want the base of both pedals FLAT on the pedal board or floor. What you don't want to do is have a pedal that is moving around each time you step on it because eventually you will damage the pedal or the pedal input/output jacks.

Comments about Musician's Gear Offset Effect Pedal Coupler:

If you use a chain of several effects boxes that will not allow a straight connection from output to input, these little coupler allow connections with jacks that are slightly offset. These eliminates hard bent cords and allows effects to be mounted closer together, saving room on the pedalboard. These also make the pedalboard look more professional. The price is right and the couplers are durable. Fve stars!!!

Comments about Musician's Gear Offset Effect Pedal Coupler:

VERY solid, but not enough offset. I ordered a bunch of them--I hope I will be able to use one or two.

They would be fine for someone whose pedals in/out jacks are almost in alignment already.

Some of my pedals can be over and inch and a half staggered with this thing, and one of them actually will not even reach the floor.

As Ffakr-.pJUU mentioned, in some cases "They don't care about engineering the box so the jacks are perfectly horizontal to the plane of the floor." Correct. I have two different Dunlop CryBabies that sit on an angle to the floor when connected to these. That's just begging to break either the pedal or the connector (my guess is the pedal--these connectors are SOLID).

I will need to use a short patch cord (which I hate, because it starts to travel, and I don't want to hassle w/ a pedal board)) for the one pedal that has the jack so far displaced.

I know they have made better-designed ones in the past, I used to own one, and bought one for my nephew a few years ago. Basically the same thing, but with more of an offset. Too bad MF doesn't carry them.
