I was looking for something to put a lot of racks I have in and have access when needed to them. This stand does just that.PROS:It does what it is suppose to do.Great price.Makes moving a full load of racks easy with wheels.Sturdy for home/studio use.CONS:You have to buy square cage bolts for it as they are not included. (Another 45 dollars or so to fill them all). The caster locks don't work that well.Would not use this stand for the road.If you are on a budget and need rack space. This stand works.

I cannot mount my audio 3U to 7U audio equipment on it! The top & bottom rack rail sets will not align to USA EIA standard square-hole spacings. For every 1U space, the stamped square-hole pattern "drifts out" thereby you cannot mount 3U, 5U, 7U etc, panels.[Useless!!]. These rails are either made to a different standard OR I have a Chinese manufacturer's defect. Instead of returning the item, I decided to grind off the both sets of defective rails and install heavy duty 10-32 threaded hole rails. [More expense!] So I advise M.F....customers should be told of this potential panel mounting problem prior to purchase.

Comments about Musician's Gear Rolling Rack Stand:
The best bet for a heavy duty rack that will remain in one room (or stage). Easy to put together, so easy that no instructions are included. If you're looking for something to transport from gig to gig - better to go with the hard shell Gator racks. But if you just want something that will stay on the ground within a designated area - this will work just great.

Comments about Musician's Gear Rolling Rack Stand:
The Rolling Rack Stand is sturdy for a stationary setup, but I would not take it on the road.
The construction of the stand is well made except for the top adjustable shelf, the holes do not line up because the shelf is skewed and not aligned.
In order to make it work I had to bend the sides in order to be perpendicular to fit the Audio Mixer.
The biggest pain and extra expense is buying the hardware.

Comments about Musician's Gear Rolling Rack Stand:
I ordered this rack as an expensive way to mount a small mixer for home use. And this is an expensive rack that does hold my mixer. However, the quality of workmanship (at least on my unit) reflects the low cost: two casters were not screwed in and had to be remounted, and the U-shaped top rack that mounts the mixer was deformed with a poorly formed rail. Because of the latter problem, my mixer mounts approximately 1/8" off square and only four of the eight mounting holes lined up. I plan to re-bend the U-mount rather than return the unit. You get what you pay for. Perhaps there was some shipping or handling damage, but whatever... The unit is fixable and it does meet my needs. And it is cheap!

Comments about Musician's Gear Rolling Rack Stand:
Unlike the usual rack spaces, it provides just holeы without screw threads, which makes it impossible to mount equipment without running to a hardware store and buying suitable nuts and washers. PAIN!

Comments about Musician's Gear Rolling Rack Stand:
For my purpose, this rack works great. If you had a lot of equipment, it wouldn't be big enough.
Comments about Musician's Gear Rolling Rack Stand:
Good start for a product. Could be so much better with a few simple tweeks - Threaded rails and taller. Could even have a rack only setup without a mixer space...
Sturdy rack, on Decent casters, but rack rails should be threaded like most rack rails. You have to buy an overpriced nut/rack screw set that should come with the rack for the price that may not be enough to hold all your equipment, so you have to buy two or come up with an altenative way to mount your equipment that takes away from the simplicity of a threaded rack rail system. Diminishes the value of the rack when you have to tag on an additionla purchase to use it...
Sturdy , but could be taller to add more rack space. Not a road case, but decent for your home or studio.
Does what I bought it for to hold my mixer and power amps, but could be so much better with more rack space. Now I have to have two racks for all my equipment with longer patch cables between both racks.
Comments about Musician's Gear Rolling Rack Stand:
Can't go wrong with this moveable stand. The casters ar rock solid and have lock downs on them.
This thing has everythig you could want in a movable stand. I use the top section for a mixer and the bottom for two power amps and effects. I don't under stand some of the other reviews as I have now owned 3 of them starting back 4 years ago and they are solid as a tank. The caster are solid enough to hold and carry over 85lbs that I have in one right now that I travel with. Load it in the back of my van, get where I am going and roll it to where it needs to be. It is by far the best stand I have ever owned and I don't need a dolly.
Solid as a rock
The first two of these I bought some where else and paid $90.00 This is a steal for the MF price
Comments about Musician's Gear Rolling Rack Stand:

Comments about Musician's Gear Rolling Rack Stand:
This is OK for light home use. Our misguided attempt to gig with it lasted about 2 outings. It just isn't solid enough to hold up to real road use! It is stong enough to hold a board, but nothing else. Otherwise watch your casters smash into oblivion.......
