I bought a Neotech strap for my banjo and it was so comfortable that I got one for an A-style mandolin... much lighter than a brass rimmed snare drum with strings --aka, banjo. Quite pleased with what neotech has done to reduce the weight of an instrument. Little expensive, but worth it in my opinion.
Very adjustable and easily connects to my A-style mandolin! Feels secure. Quick release buckle is convenient.
Just hoping the plastic buckle/clip lasts as long as the strap! It's a relativly expensive strap, so I'm hoping it lasts. Has a lifetime warranty, but not likely if it broke I'd wait to contact the manufacturer.
A little expensive but it's really comfortable so it's worth it.

A rating of 5 is a result of excellent design and construction but poor execution of both. Somebody at Op/Tech needs to consult real, live stringed-instrument players to correct problems in adjustibility and marketing. I'm leaning toward returning this strap.
This strap is sold with one Loop and one tab connector to attach it to the neck (half-hitch around the neck at the back of the nut) and to the end pin respectively. If you have a heel pin on your mandolin you will need to purchase another tab connector separately.
MADE IN THE USA (by OP/TECH USA). All the stress-points on this strap are accurately and incredibly stout: it's a stable as a strap can get without being a one-piece leather unit. But there are design issues.
Someone mentioned earlier that the strap was poorly designed and not fully adjustible. That's an accurate assessment. This adjustibility issue also plagues the banjo strap in the same but more correctible way. Here's the problem: the strap coming off the rear of the pad is not long enough to comfortably position the pad itself on your shoulder: it needs to be about 5" longer. The front strap needs to be shorter or adjustibly shorter.
The adjustibility issue is enough of a problem to make me consider returning the strap becasue if the pad is positioned on the shoulder, the mandolin hangs parallel to (and even slightly tilted toward) the floor rather than at a more comfortable angle that accommodates the left hand in a better fretting position. This is probably not a problem for everybody.
I could probably put up with the adjustibility issue. But what really hacks me off is how connectivity is marketed.
These straps are sold with detachable connectors: a loop on one end (to half-hitch around the neck in back of the nut) and a tab connector for the end pin at the tail piece. If you have a heel pin on your mandolin, you'll need to add a tab connector to the clip on the loop-end of the strap. The tabs are not sold individually. You'll need to spend more to get TWO tab connectors and another loop. This makes sense if you have more than one mandolin with more than one means of connecting. This is dumb for those of us (most) who want the same connectivity on both ends of the mandolin. Add to the price of a strap that's not fully adjustible to be able to connect it to a heel strap pin? Not me. It would'n have been a huge financial inconvenience for the Op/Tech folks to include two tab connectors with this strap.

This is the second Neotech mandolin strap I have purchased. I use both on model A mandolins and they are very comfortable for all day use at jams and festivals. I like the adjustability for my use but can understand the comments on adjusting them for F model mandos.

I've had a Neotech guitar strap for years and use it 95% of the time.
This was the first brand of strap that came to mind when my 90 yr. old dad told me he as ready to use a strap on his mandolin. The smile on his face was all I needed as confirmation....Mission Accomplished!

Would recommend!
Great strap for mandolin or ukulele. Strap lead attaches to headstock under the strings using a slip knot. Both ends of strap have a detachable buckle for quick on and off.
Stap and padding seem very durable.
Seems to be very well worth the money.

Unlike the old school style strap offered by Levy's and others, this strap is actually fairly adjustable, stays on your mando and works well. You don't get a whole lot for your fifteen bucks but at least this strap does what its supposed to do. The easy release clips are handy as well; they make straping up a breeze and you don't have to man-handle your mando to get your strap on. A nice touch.

I really like this strap, it relieves a lot of stress on my shoulders. Extremely comfortable, i liked having it on more than I liked having it off. The only is that if you set it down, be careful when you pick it up because sometimes the strap gets twisted and comes right off when you pick, possibly leading to a broken mandolin. I wish it was more adjustable, but its really not a problem. Great overall!

This Neotech mando strap is a well made yet poorly designed instrument strap. If you want to attach the loop to the scroll of an f-style mandolin, the shoulder pad winds up behind your back. The only way the shoulder pad sits on top of your shoulder is if you attach the strap to the headstock.This strap IS NOT fully adjustable. Too bad, since the quality of construction is very good.
