Of all the straps I have used over the years on my guitars (regardless of whether they be Dread, Jumbo, Solid body, 12's - you name it) this strap performs fantastically!!! If there is a so-called "downside" to this strap, its that it only comes in "Black" and a pure "Plain-Jane" (with no color, markings, pictures, etc.) So if you are looking for a strap that will "Dazzle" folks with weird faces, markings, colors, signatures, etc., - this is not for you. However, if you are a musician that wants a strap that is comfortable (regardless of the instrument - Acoustic/Solid Axe/Bass, etc.) - THIS IS FOR YOU. Of course, I have some "great-looking ones" that really set your attire off - if that's important but they are also "WIDE" in most cases and always "Padded." (I've learned my lesson over the years not to mention that my age now shows more.) Of course, you "Pay" for those type straps – DEARLY in many cases. If your session is short and you don't have to worry about shoulder/neck/back pains that you may get (always) from that great-looking-colorful "skinny-type" strap - then hang with it! But, if you want to carry your instrument throughout a long session, and especially if you are really moving around, the added support and comfort that the Mega Axe Strap provides will make your day. To me, its an all-around perfect strap that does what a strap is suppose to - hold your instrument comfortably while you get down to business; and not leave you so tired (and sore) from a strap that may look pretty but, in many cases unless that strap has padding and is "WIDE"!!! Well, I'm sure you get the picture!! For the money, you can't go wrong: its a wide, comfortable strap that is virtually indestructible and, for the most part, very adjustable for most guitar-type instruments. They do have one specifically for a Bass guitar so check with MF or the Neotech website for more info. And by the way, I also have one for my GT ES-Banjitar 6-String Banjo - its a perfect fit (for me anyway) to hall and swing that heavy sucker around!!! They are a "material-type" strap so they will, in time, wear down. I've had some for a few years and to be honest, I can't tell any difference with a new one! There are 2 items that I keep in every case: a G7th Performance Capo and the Neotech Mega Axe Strap. As the ole' saying goes, "never leave home without um'"!!!! Skip........

This is unusable unless you are either 7 feet tall, or like your guitar to hang down around your knees. When adjusted to its shortest length it still is too long to provide support. It is a fashion accessory, not for serious musicians.

Comments about Neotech Mega Axe Guitar Strap:

After buying 1 for myself got 2 more for bass player friends of mine that were having back issues. Both say this is most comfortable strap they have ever used. We are all 59 with 45+ years of playing expeience...this strap is a keeper. The only negative is the strap length as it is really long, so it requires minor modification for shorteniing beyond the minimum setting.

These are the best guitar straps available

            By Snouter

            from Connecticut

Comments about Neotech Mega Axe Guitar Strap:

It would be cool if they came with some kind of designs I guess. But the technology of the material probably makes that a challenge.15
The are the most comfortable straps ever invented. If you play more than a few hours at a time several times a week, there is no substitute. I have them on all my guitars and basses.

            Strap built for a man!

Comments about Neotech Mega Axe Guitar Strap:

Just in response to the li'l fella that said this strap was too long... well, yeh, you should have read the description fully. I'm ready to order another one. They work great. Answer to the heavy guitarist's (Les Paul, BC Rich Warlock, Musicman Stingray) bass straps. I love them, but they weren't made for the pink Hello Kitty's.

            Great Strap!

Comments about Neotech Mega Axe Guitar Strap:

I started learning to play bass after many years of guitar and needed a stap that made fell like I was not holding a dead horse! The strap distributed the weight and now the bass feels like a light weight guitar around my neck and shoulders. I read a review that said this strap is to long, If you are very short or wear your guitar or bass with the top horn by your chest then yes it is to long. I have bought alot of straps and feel that this the best strap you can buy for a heavy Les Paul or that heavy bass! Buy one I can almost bet you won't regret it.

            Best Strap I've Ever Used

            By ItsNotTheGuitar

            from Greenacres, Florida

Comments about Neotech Mega Axe Guitar Strap:

I have herniated discs in my neck and back. Most standard straps make it very difficult for me to play more than 30 minutes at a time. This strap is the most comfortable I have ever used. I can jam with my 18 pound Les Paul (non-routed body) for 2 hours with no problems using this strap. It's very comfortable and distributes the weight of the guitar evenly unlike the standard 2", non-padded straps that feel like a hangman's noose and cause me great pain.I highly recommend this strap for anyone that has neck or back problems. I'd say its an excellent strap for folks that don't have problems yet. It will probably prevent them.

            By Porkchop

Comments about Neotech Mega Axe Guitar Strap:

I own 2 of them, have them on both of my Basses, they make your Bass feel like it weights about 5 lbs., you can't go wrong with this strap. I just ordered a Ibanez Acoustic Bass, gonna see how it feels with this bad boy strapped to it, I will let yaz know in a few weeks, Music Is Life.
