Designed to protect and transport the Hercules RMX/STEEL DJ MIDI Controller.
The Odyssey Flight Zone Glide Style case for the popular Hercules RMX/STEEL DJ MIDI Controller is built with enough room under the player for cables and hard drives. Position the gliding laptop platform as needed.
Note: Please do not transport your laptop on this case, as damage may occur. For the safety of your equipment, please be aware that the platform can be removed when slid out to its furthest point.

Comments about Odyssey Flight Zone Glide Style Case for Hercules RMX/STEEL:
The RMX2 comes with a soft case. Not the best for preventing damage to the controller. After consideration of a separate Laptop Stand, I decided it was best to combine a Laptop Stand and a more protective Case into one unit. This Flight Zone Glide Style Case for Hercules RMX2 is excellent for my application. The Case is sturdy construction although slightly heavier than I anticipated. There is ample room in the bottom to store the Laptop Power Supply and even a 6-outlet electrical multi-strip. No directions or instructions are included, but I figured out how to secure the RMX2 into the case...there are a couple of velco tapered strips...simply apply to the underside of the slide shelf (narrow ends first) and as you slide the shelf inward to allow installing the case "cover," the tapered strips will apply slight downward pressure to hold the controller in place...just make sure you're not hitting any knobs or buttons! One concern is the need to improve the internal stops that prevent the sliding tray from totally sliding off. The plastic stops don't seem to stay in position, even when tightened. I am afraid the tray could easily slip out, allowing the Laptop to drop! I will be heading to the local Hardware Store to see if some type of small latch is available to add to the Aluminum slides. I haven't tried using the top cover beneath the main part of the case (as shown in the pic) but I am sure it will work...the metal corners on the main part of the case have "pockets" to accept the rounded corners on the top cover.
