I am very happy with this purchase. It has organized and de-cluttered my studio. Given it a professional face. Everything is easy to access now.
It seemed expensive to me at first but MF was having a sale and I went for it. Good move. I love that its on heavy casters in the event I need to move it for access.
It was drop-shipped from the factory in Sausalito. A four week lead time. The people there worked with me to make this a wonderful experience. Do yourself, your studio, and your clients, a favor - get one!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

If you're looking for a great looking, well designed, ergonomic desk for audio and video editing, this is a good choice. Be aware that it's pretty massive, so be sure to measure your space with some room to spare.
I replaced a very cumbersome rack system with this desk. It has a lot of well thought out features, from the curve of the desk and bridge - perfect for a computer screen and monitors - to the buit in rack spaces under the bridge, to the design of the lower racks; the way the outer sides extend out past the face of the rack gear makes the electronics look a lot more discreet while not limiting their accessibility at all. The whole thing feels very spacious and ergonomic when assembled. Be warned that the computer keyboard tray is not included in the purchase, which is my only real complaint. I'll probably order it, but I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want one on a desk of this size designed for this purpose.
In spite of the MDF, the whole thing is very heavy and solid feeling while putting it together and once it's assembled. The casters are fantastic, and you can move it around easily with one hand very smoothly. Even my wife, who *hates* all MDF products, was impressed with the build quality and design. When putting it together, there were a bunch of places where the designer included touches that made it easy to assemble in spite of the size of the pieces.
It's expensive, but compared tot he cheaper alternatives, it seems worth it. It doesn't look or feel cheesy at all (and at this price, it shouldn't).
