Comments about On-Stage Stands Double Flip It Guitar Stand:
Solid for any typical sized guitar, bass, accoustic. Sturdy bse. 'Flip-It' yoke easy to manipulate. Sufficiant foam where needed. Looks great. No cheap looking or flimsy parts. I totally trust my 2 pricey vintage guitars secured on it!
Comments about On-Stage Stands Double Flip It Guitar Stand:
This stand is of the finest construction I've seen on the market. Sturdy, solid, and guaranteed to keep your axe from hitting the ground! Word to the wise though, it can be difficult to put two acoustics in the stand back to back without their headstalks clashing a little. I just turn one guitar around the other way to eliminate this problem. All in all, this is an awesome stand and worth the extra duckets. You're only as good as your gear and cutting corners only leads to a royal pain in the posterior!
Comments about On-Stage Stands Double Flip It Guitar Stand:
This stand seems stable and works well. It allows a solid place for two guitars without the large foot print of using multipe stands. It is well made and does the job especially for the money. I have used for electrics and acoustics both. When using it for two acoustics it may need to be raised up to better accomadate the bigger bodies.
This stand for this price is great. It works well and is pretty stable.
This stand seems well made.
For the price this stand is spot on.
Comments about On-Stage Stands Double Flip It Guitar Stand:
No surprises. Good design and it holds up under a couple basses.
It was exactly what I needed. It holds two basses, a 35' scale 5 er and a hunk of lumber ( 9+ pounds ) 4 stringer with zero issues. The spring mechanism for the "safety" bar is well thought out and dead simple.
The quality was fantastic, I gave it an 8 only because I think the tubes could have been a little thicker in diameter and a bit bigger in over all thickness as well. It has the appearance, on first inspection, of looking flimsy. I admit I was hesitant to put my $$ dollar bass on this at first. It turns out it was fine, but it took a little bravery on my part. Nobody wants a 4 figure instrument taking a dive from a 2 figure stand.
For he price, getting two instruments in the same basic footprint of a regular stand is brilliant. it saves space and time. One less thing to set up, tear down, stow away and transport is a good thing. All for nearly the price of a single instrument stand.
Comments about On-Stage Stands Double Flip It Guitar Stand:
I have only had it for a week, but I haven't had any problems with the "flip it" or cradle of the stand at all. Works like it is intended to work. You can tell the metal isnt top notch but for the money it is a well built stand.
Comments about On-Stage Stands Double Flip It Guitar Stand:
This stand is a pretty good stand for the money. I wish it was more compact when stored but the fact that is so stable is the reason for that and I will take that over storability anytime. No problems with the head stock touching as you can just raise the stand to accomodate for that. Even with one guitar in the stand it is pretty stable. I use it for two bass guitars and find both fit it well and are secure.
Comments about On-Stage Stands Double Flip It Guitar Stand:
This stand might not be the "best" stand on the market. It might not be "perfect". Yet, what in life is perfect? Little. This stand, for the price, is a great deal. The bottom cradle is no different in design than most stands. if you turn it 180 degrees, it will line up the key to the groove, and down will come baby, cradle and all. Yet, if you use it as it was intended, the key will stay out of phase with the groove, and your axe will be secure.I have had better stands, but none better for the price. I would use this stand in any venue, or in the home where I have mine right now.
Comments about On-Stage Stands Double Flip It Guitar Stand:
After losing a guitar to a bad stand, i bought this one for the "flip it" system. it works, my guitars don't fall, not even my mahogany 6 string bass. HOWEVER, the bottom saddles sometimes come loose causing a slow 3 inch fall that hasn't harmed anything.
