I hate those crappy stands with the fork stuck into the base. They're light and flimsy, are cumbersome to transport to the gig, flop over far too easily, and can't hold a flying V guitar worth a crap. This stand is perfect. It fits any size and shape guitar or bass. Far better than the Hercules stands, because a 7-string guitar or 6-string bass' neck doesn't fit into a Hercules' mechanical clasp.Best part, gig's over, I throw both my basses on the stand, grab the frame under the yokes, and walk right off the stage with one hand. QUICK. Then I can pack away my axes as the next band now has a clear stage to move onto.Best stand on the market.

This is the worst stand ever made. It works fine when you put two guitars on it... but when you take one off the other one can easily fall down. The designers of this product should have made it with four legs instead of just three. I threw it in the garbage cause I don't want guitars to be falling over all the time.

Comments about On-Stage Stands GS-7255 Hang-it Double Guitar Stand:

We often play venues with small stages. That makes it tough since I play keyboards and two guitars, plus I have to get out to the front since I often front and do leads. I like my A-frame stands, but this works great to minimize the area that I need for setup. The stand is more stable than I expected. Good product at a very reasonable price.

Comments about On-Stage Stands GS-7255 Hang-it Double Guitar Stand:

A very nice stand from a known brand. Great value. Quality built and does what it's supposed to do very well! Folds flat for portability. Great for all guitars, but especially for odd shaped ones, e.g. Flying V, Explorer, Firebird and other shapes.

Comments about On-Stage Stands GS-7255 Hang-it Double Guitar Stand:

Overall good as long as there are two guitars on it. Very convenient to only have to use one stand cuz it takes up less space. A little top heavy with only one guitar on it.

      A good stand.

      By Jordo

      from Fort Worth, TX

Comments about On-Stage Stands GS-7255 Hang-it Double Guitar Stand:

I only gave it a nine because the neck-cradle is a sort of narrow, making it a bit difficult to place a classical guitar on the stand. It works though.
Light-weight, does what it's supposed to do.

      cant hold my bass

      By shawn fritz

Comments about On-Stage Stands GS-7255 Hang-it Double Guitar Stand:

i bought it and at first liked it used it for my electric guitar and my acoustic and it held them well then i got a bass and decided to put it on the stand instead of my acoustic and put it in my practice space for my band and i started to notice it was getting lopsided and soon enough my instruments started falling down almost right after me or my friends would place them on the stand and now i have a dent on my guitar neck now me and my bandmates guitars and bases just lean against the wall and i dont even bother with the stand anymore only get it if your going to be using it for guitars dont even bother if you need it for a bass

      Nice Stand

      By Fikto

      from New England

Comments about On-Stage Stands GS-7255 Hang-it Double Guitar Stand:

I wanted a stand to hold two acoustic guitars without complications. This fits the bill. Doesn't tip with one guitar on it and seems sturdy enough. I like that you just hang them from the headstock. For the price, it's well worth it.

      Tippy stand

      By GuitarVlog-wWr0m

      from San Francisco, CA

Comments about On-Stage Stands GS-7255 Hang-it Double Guitar Stand:

I was going to order the GS-7255 but I evaluated it at a local store. I loaded it with just one electric guitar to check its balance. A nudge could cause it to tip over. It was more stable with one acoustic guitar. I was still uncomfortable with trusting my instruments to this stand so I spent the extra money and got a Hercules stand instead.
